Terrible ! More like an airport stopover than any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in ... Shabby at best, tiny rooms and smaller bathrooms (perfect if you want to sit on the loo with one arm in the shower 😳) The lobby is like a train station and the restaurant has the same canteen style feel .. As for...

Dear Boxergirl48, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your stay at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. I am pleased to see you enjoyed our hotel’s location and popular Grain bar, but I am of course disappointed to learn that your expectations were not met in full with regards to room size and pool in particular. The Four Seasons always has high standards and many of its properties are amazing. This is not the case in Sydney. The hotel does not have the same luxury standard, and the hotel- which gets many of the cruises- feels much more like a lower class location. Though many of the rooms have amazing views on the harbor and the...

I love Four Season Hotels, and this one is really a great one to stay! The location, the rooms, but the staff is the best part! They make your stay so enjoyable, concierges are the best! And the executive club was one of the best I have been to, the food and the wonderfull staff! We were there for New...

Besides great location, this has been one if our highlight stays for 2015. With 3 months travel this year to Europe, China and NZ, the Club experience at Four Seasons has been our best. All staff in all departments displayed a natural friendliness and courtesy. The Club Lounge, staff and food were a highlight of our 5 days. So much...

We stayed in mid November and we were not disappointed in the slightest, despite been a little worried having read numerous reviews commenting on the aged feel of the hotel. We arrived at around 10am and were immediately offered a room, even though checkin wasn't officially until 3pm. However, we decided to wait until later in the day when a...

Very cramped room. I now know there is a problem when a hotel of this calibre quotes the size of the room on booking sites....lesson learned. Would not stay with this hotel again....no value for spend. Relying on the FS brand and the staff to carry them.

We loved the bed, it is a heaven bed indeed that you can deeply sleep & rest! Also the location is extremely convenience that it is next to Rocks ares, as well as we only need to take 2-min walk to reach Ferries for cruising around sightseeing the harbours, bays and through many other key destinations: Manly Beach, Zoo, Luna...

From check in to check out the service at this hotel is amazing. I have stayed there a few times and always found that no request was too small. On Easter weekend there were Lindt chocolate bunnies on my plate at breakfast and dinner and the turn down service left two (one on each pillow) that night. I've even asked...

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
