Great hotel but let down by reception staff. At check in we discovered that our request for twin beds in one of the rooms had not been fulfilled. As the hotel was fully booked we reached a compromise that sheets etc would be arranged in a California style. The next day the bedding went back to normal but when we... More

I chose the Four Seasons because of its Circular Quay location and it offered a good rate for a 3 night stay. Great fitness centre and spa facility plus quality room service offering. Lobby cafe also serves a la carte, which is a great alternative to having to eat a buffet.

I would say this is a 4.5 star hotel. The location, staff, location, and views are all amazing, but the facilities and rooms need some updating/modernization. The concierge was great and helped plan our entire 4 day-trip in a very short time. Breakfast was good, but not outstanding. Make sure you get a room with an Opera and bridge view--thats... More

Had booked in to run the City2Surf again and was about to book into our regular Westin - Friends encouraged me to go Four Seasons - I am pleased that they did - Check in was quick as it was late arrival - and Maurice who brought up our luggage was so courteous and helpful - he deserves mention. Can't fault it. Fantastic stay. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. Great concierge service. Executive club amazing! Aye at the hotel restaurant twice , the duck egg custard dessert the nicest pudding I have eaten in a long time!

My husband booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a beautiful club king room looking over the opera house. The staff were so lovely during every interaction and really went out of their way to make our visit extra special.

Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Food at the restaurant was hit and miss. Good but expensive breakfast (at least expensive by Tokyo standards). Dinner at the restaurant didn't meet expectations. Very limited menu too. Very good wifi connection. Complementary wifi up to two devices

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
