We often stay at Hyde park inn when ever we need to visit the city . We have never had a bad thing to say about any part of the experience of staying at Hyde Park inn . The rooms are fairly modern and always cleaned to perfection. The staff are always so helpful snd professional.

WE stayed two nights just before our cruise, we booked a deluxe studio and were upgraded to a lovely apartment with a beautiful balcony, which was very much appreciated! Very close to all shops, great pubs around the corner for dinner and lunches, and within walking distance to everything. It was straight across from the Museum rail station, we took...

Spent a couple of nights here over the weekend. Nothing too fancy but it's in a good location close to World Square and the city. I wasn't comfortable however in handing over my car keys at reception. I don't understand why and have never been asked this before at any hotel. But in all its an alright place.

Great location not far from China town or Bay Harbor Great Staff very helpful left luggage great wi-fi breakfast is enough as a starter and all the amenities required in a room. Plenty of information in reception. Museum train station opposite side of road connects to airport.

This hotel was in a great location overlooking Hyde Park. The train station opposite is Museum station and we got a train there and back easily and quickly from the Airport $18 each way. We got an Opal card at the airport and put $50 on it. We were then able to use the buses too. There are bus stops...

Breakfast included in our room cost: cereal, sliced bread, jams and butter, orange juice and tinned fruit. Washing up liquid, dish cloth and tea towel provided in case you want...

Iconic Australian food, shrimps on the barbee, meat pies, vegemite sandwiches, etc can run a bit thin in Sydney, but the Hyde Park Inn is in walking distance of Sydney's Thai, Korean, and China towns. Our room on the 10th floor had a nice view of the park. The air-conditioner was silent and the room was nicely furnished with a...

It's not the fanciest hotel but the staff was helpful and courteous. Room clean and comfortable. There might have been some black mold growing in the corner of the ceiling in the bathroom -- or it was peculiar insulation that was exposed. The kitchenette was stocked with 2 dry cereals, tea, coffee, cookies each morning. Fruit, juice, milk and bread...

Convenient location as there are a lot of restaurants at the back streets. The kitchen is well equipped, even with stove and oven! The continental breakfast was stopped in the fridge for consumption. Hyde park is having construction work, otherwise the view will be much better. Well, that's why the price dropped a bit.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
