Very convenience location, close to Museum station and bus stop, about 7 minutes walk to The World Square shopping center, a lot of restaurant near by. The room we had is a budget room but is clean and really quite, myself and my girlfriend had a good sleep. The only downside is one of the bath towel a bit dirty....

We chose the Hyde Park Inn for a night before a cruise, and it was great! Lovely location opposite Hyde Park and our double glazed windows looked through the leaves at the green lawn across the road. We booked two rooms next door to each other and after a rocky start with me messing up the online booking, they quickly...

I stay here often and several days at a time so I appreciate the kitchenette, however I feel it's better to buy your own than rely on the meagre victuals left by the staff. I like the outlook over the cenotaph and the park which is one of its special qualities. But for the most part it's a pretty ubiquitous...

Great location. The hotel is very close to all the shops and has fantastic views of Hyde Park. Very easy to get to the hotel by train. There is a train station close by to the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend this hotel for its price and location.

Thank you to Julie for arranging our accommodation at such short notice and it was just perfect. We stayed here to go to the night noodle markets held in Hyde park so location could not have been more convenient than this, across the road!! The rooms were generous in size, clean, with small balconies and with a view of beautiful...

Was impressed from the moment I walked in, loved the secure elevator, made me feel safer. Staff were lovely especially the young man. Very friendly and helpful. Even on checking out they went the extra mile to ensure we got to airport in the most easy way possible and took the time to explain it. Loved the view from my...

Had a really nice stay in this hotel. It is easy to get from the airport by train, and not that far from the city centre. The room was spacious with a small balcony, clean and comfortable. got the newspaper for free every day. The breakfast is not that big but was included in the room rate. Cheap and easy...

Searched high and low for a family hotel that would be well situated for both the harbor and the airport, yet not cost a bomb. Hyde Park inn to the rescue. Maybe 20 minutes to the airport, not even 10 to the cruise ship pier. Cannot say enough good about it. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Spacious clean rooms...

We paid $209 for a studio room which had a queen and a single bed. It was furnished with a settee and an arm chair. Plenty of room to move. Clean and comfortable with on site free parking handy to shopping and not that far from the harbour. Great value for Sydney

The service from the hotel was excellent, and it is located reasonably close from the subway station. There was a simple set of breakfast prepared for each adult staying in the room, and when a set has been left out, we called the reception and they got to us immediately. The room was spacious and just nice for 3 adults,...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
