I stayed December 4 to 7 and the service at Club Lounge was excellent. The manager and staff were always attentive no matter how busy they were and nothing was too much trouble. Returning for Christmas. Why stay home and celebrate Christmas when you have Intercon Sydney. First class and 5 star!

Did what it said on the tin and really worth the money to start off our holiday with a bang. We paid for a Harbour Bridge & Opera House view room and it certainly didn't disappoint. Comfy bed, nifty features...the remote blinds, controllable from the bed were a favourite...and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast included a good selection and seemed fresh...

Stayed here for 6 nights on our last leg in Australia. Wow!!! The hotel is truly iconic. The original Treasury, the building is magnificent mixing old with modern perfectly. Wander around the ground floor and see the original brickwork and bars at the old arched windows. Well placed, just a few minutes from Circular Quays, the Opera House, and The...

Booked and paid for a Harbour Bridge view Room. The view was the reason we chose this property. Unfortunately, our booking was revised by the hotel because there were no Harbour Bridge Rooms left and we were given a "city" view (i.e. side of a building) and 10% off (despite the Bridge room being greater than 10% more expensive). Hotel...

Always the expected luxury when we stay at an Intercontinental, this one has a superstar view. The lounge balcony view is amazing. We had breakfast everyday in the lounge to take it in. At night the lounge turns business casual for drinks and dinner. Our suite was grand. I enjoyed the view more than watching tv. Room service was delicious.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
