Being in the hospitality industry for over 5 years, staying at this establishment for 2 nights, I can say this has been one of the best experiences. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a true 5 star experience.

Amazing buffet . Seafood was sensational . Cooked meals were delicious . Service fantastic . My 8 and 10 year old loved it. We'll be back. One of the best buffets in Sydney - my children are currently ratting them all

Location, location! I benefitted from an early arrival and check in, but then not needing my room until evening. I scored of the rooms on the 21st floor with an incredible view of the harbour bridge, Luna Park, the cruise terminal, Circular Quay, and the harbour as a whole, (a building blocked off the Opera House) and a large window...

Arriving at the beloved Intercon where you always are greeted by a smile by David or Zaffa is something that I am used to. Sadly I hear the lads are moving on to explore the big bad world which is a huge shame for the property. They really made my stay every time and really made the hotel what it...

I spent three nights at the InterContinental in Sydney with work. The hotel and service were good and what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The rooms were a good size, the service was good and the amenities were fine. Breakfast was good with a good selection and I enjoyed the dinner I had. All up it is...

This is a nice hotel with exceptional views and super located. Rooms are good but the service has room for approval. The steak in meat and wines was great and the staff there was very friendly. I don't know if i will return.

This was the last hotel stay from our AUS- FÍJI trip and I was very excited. I have been to the intercontinental before for drinks and I liked very much the bar service and the cocktails. The service at reception was fast efficient. I liked it so much I signed up to a one years ambassador membership. Our room was...

As a Hilton Diamond member, I always book the Hilton when in Sydney. For this trip though, their prices were sky high, so I shopped around and found a room it the Intercontinental at half the price. Not sure what to expect, I was delighted to enjoy a fantastic stay. It started with reception, friendly efficient, and located to the...

We stayed in a Harbour View room during Christmas. Our room had a great view over the Botanical Gardens and the eastern harbour (not the Opera House or Harbour Bridge). The room was nice, very clean and quite spacious with ample room for a comfy King bed, a day bed, lounge, large desk and armchair. Good quality toiletries, slippers &...

Arrived a little tired and was greeted by a superb desk manager who made check in so easy and took us to this wonderful room with a view of the Opera House and Sydney Bridge with the Emerald Princess in dock. The room was first class with all amenities and a fruit bowel welcome. Although a late arrival we had...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
