Still the most perfect stay in Sydney. Perfectly appointed rooms, extremely friendly staff, great food, and beautiful swimming pool. The location is very good, in a quiet area, but still super easy to walk around the city, and it’s just a short stroll to the Darling Harbour. I haven’t tried the hotel spa yet, but now I have another reason to come back! I’m looking forward to my next stay here!

As a family of 5 and a pooch we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Room: 2 x interconnected deluxe. Street view from juliet balcony. Very spacious. And THE most comfortable bed (super king) I have ever slept in. Bathroom had every amenity needed. Leave your toothbrush, razor, hair ties, toothpaste at home? Don't worry. You won't need them. TV has option to connect your own media. Pod machine and Bluetooth speaker included. Our little pooch was very well catered for with a sumptuous dog bed and food and water bowl. BREAKFAST: the best buffet breakfast I've had anywhere and the coffee so good too. As we had our pooch they accommodated us to eat breakfast in the lobby, which rather is more like a lounge. So comfortable eating brekky on the couch. SERVICE: Impeccable and friendly. CONCLUSION the langham, Sydney really caters to everyone. My children and pooch were made so welcome with many little touches. There are lots of dog friendly walks and millers Point is so peaceful, yet so close to major attractions. The decor is understated modern elegance and unpretentious. Such a warm welcoming hotel. I do have one complaint though. I found it very difficult to fall asleep in my own bed when i got home 🤭

Having stayed a good few times at the Sydney Langham before , it is our favourite Sydney hotel, and even though I could understand the cause, Covid, we were a bit upset by the cracks reflecting in service delivery. Lack of sufficient staff and insufficient turnover are probably the two big causes of our concern as to what is still a 5 star hotel and will remain as our favourite Sydney hotel......these are some of the downsides we noticed...due to lack of staff( and probably budgetary constraints to boot as well)....slow response to service requirements.....the staff , please don't get me wrong....at least the ones we interacted with were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay a great one...but there are too few staff to satisfy everyones requirements.....slow response for mundane things like coffee in the mornings in the restaurant, the telephone rings for ages and then the dept/s you want are unavailable?...every time we have stayed at the Langham we have received a bowl of fruit and welcome card, this time there were two apples and a bottle of water( we actually felt dissed by this-rather do nothing than skimp to save pennies)....finally the check out was a shambles...we could not get a comprehensive bill, then for some reason the card did not go through the first time and unbeknown to us they then proceeded to debit two more times.....the bill besides being paid prior to our arrival was settled by the card we used , the problem is the other debited amounts reflect as pending payments and therefore are subtracted from your available funds....the attitude of the reception staff when I phoned was incredulous....sort of that's the way it is ....wait 5 to10 business days for the over debits to be reaccredited too my card.....no apologies over the hassle factor, I was actually gobsmacked when I was told when we checked in we signed that they could essentially do what they. wanted to with the card details supplied , debit once , twice, three times....no problem...why you getting upset??? Nonetheless...still a great place to stay ...management however need to re think a few issues, the first being, if you charge what they do...make very sure you can deliver , a 9 out of 10 for this establishment is just about acceptable...this stay they scored a 7 out of 10.....afternoon teas cancelled due to lack of staff, tardy telephone services, a shambles on the bill / invoice issue... I must have tried around 4 to 5 times to get a full and comprehensive bill... But as said...it is a great hotel and this time round shall give them the benefit of the doubt....everyone is feeling the Covid pressure issue. Next time round we would expect their 10 out of 10 score.

I planned a stay at the Langham, together with the Pink Taxi and Picnic tour as a surprise for my daughter’s 21st and I was not disappointed. Catherine and Jonathon at the concierge’s desk went out of their way to help me with every detail to ensure that my daughter’s birthday was as memorable as possible. It was lovely that they shared my enthusiasm to make it so special and nothing was too much to ask of them. Bonny who checked us in was also so lovely. While I often visit Sydney and was in 2 minds about doing a tour in the Pink Taxi, it was such an amazing experience and James the driver, with his formidable knowledge and humour, showed us a side of Sydney we had not experienced. The picnic at the end was such a delight- an amazing delicious spread with each morsel enjoyed while taking in breath taking views of the Harbour. The ambience of the hotel decked out for Christmas was magical; room superb; in room dining and breakfast truly delicious. If you are looking to do something truly special, I would definitely recommend a stay at the Langham. It truly embodies what a world class hotel is all about.

We had our Caboodle with us who was welcomed by all of the staff. The hotel Provided all the essentials-bedding, bowls, filtered water and dog biscuits were available as well as pet meals from room service. There are many restaurant options close by with outdoor seating so the dog could come along. Our room was sufficiently big to easily accommodate our pet
