We lived in Sydney a few years ago and I had always wanted to stay at the Westin. We got the opportunity last week and it didn't disappoint. Fabulous central location. Can walk to shops, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Rooms were very comfortable. Bathroom was gorgeous.

This is an excellent Sydney Hotel, well situated to all the city attractions such as Circular Quay, Botanical Gardens and the shopping precinct in Pitt and Market Streets. Also close to Martin Place and Wynyard Railway Stations for ventures further afield. It has a delightful lobby area with several well patronised bars/eateries and areas for business discussions in a warm...

We stayed here for a special occasion and am very glad we did. I have been surprised by the negative TripAdvisor reviews about this hotel. I recommend readers take the negative reviews with a grain of salt as the service was as expected and more so during our stay and the additional costs (where applicable, e.g water) were always clearly...

One minute walk to the shopping area and Westfield Sydney. Located in Martin Place and closest train station is Wynyard. Stayed here for business and the best thing about the room was the bed and pillows. Best sleep ever! Decent sized room with modern electronics and furniture. Close to everything and worth the rates

Excellent quality and spacious rooms and very good service from all the staff. Very convenient central location near shopping, business and transport facilities. Good restaurant offering a great breakfast but not cheap but there are plenty of other alternatives near by.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
