We stayed six nights. By the time we left there was a layer of dust on all the furniture and the floor didn't look as if it had been vacuumed. On two occasions, one of the beds had not been made and the bins were not always emptied.

Friendly hotel staff happy to provide help, even though my booking and check-in was late. I always choose to stay here when I visit Sydney even though the building is undergoing renovations at the moment.

The location is close to where we had to go and is easy to get to. The hotel is under repair and this is reflected in the price we were charged. There is no dining room or restaurant, but we went out to a pub for dinner, and had breakfast over the road at a cafe.

Great value for the location. Walking distance to Circular Quay and all that central Sydney offers. Stayed overnight prior to boarding a cruise. Just perfect for our requirements. Qantas lost one of our bags. We notified reception that it should be delivered 'soon'. Staff were very helpful and showed genuine concern for our plight. The room is not large but...

Unfortunately A/C was broken. We were informed the day before we were due to arrive. Upon arrival we were given the opportunity to change hotels if we wished or offered as many fans as we wanted and a discount. We decided to stay and the staff couldn't have been nicer considering the lack of A/C and the building works going...

The service was ok. The room was ok. the stuffiness due to the faulty air con was terrible. the location was good the location was the best part of the entire experience I understand that renovations are taking place and some inconvenience is to be expected but the air con fault was unforgivable

Arrived to find that the place was being refurbished.Sounds of building work going on and no air con for a week.Hard pressed Reception staff offered discount or alternative Travel lodge which we took advantage of.This hotel is within 15 min walk of Circular Quay which was why we chose it.We are now 35 minutes walk away which is a bind...

Disappointing. We've stayed at many many motels, first time at a Travelodge though. In no hurry to go back but would give it a second chance. Should have been told the air condit wasn't working at check in. Staff were helpful in transferring us the next day though.

This hotel shouldn't be taking guests at the present time. I recently stayed at the property and there is no restaurant, no air conditioning (Sydney was experiencing 30 degree days during my stay) and renovations are taking place day and night. I cant quite believe that Travelodge were taking bookings at this property. I wouldn't stay again and although I...

The hotel is located very close to the airport train line and other lines are even closer. Bus stops close also. Can walk to the downtown/harbor CDB area in 15 minutes. Small but modern rooms. Off the main streets so traffic noise is minimal. While I was there they were in the midst of major renovations so during the day...

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
