We attended the Swans AFL Match at the SCG on Friday night 26th May and the Sydney Travelodge Motel in Wentworth Street was well located to come back to after the Match finished at 10:30 pm. We were charged a total of $255 to stay the night and including the full buffet breakfast. Is there any chance of having a...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 8 April 2017

We booked well ahead of travel dates so secured a great price. The reception and housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful and quick to provide any extras we needed. Best location for all attractions and shops and also for trains, with Museum station just up the road. We had a triple room which was spacious and our stay there was...

Checked into my queen room and arrived at room to find a single room. Straight back to reception to change room to what I'd booked. Prepaid breakfast - front desk staff had no idea about that promotion! Arrived at room (this time with a queen bed). Room appeared 'tired'. Black curly hairs throughout the bathroom, loose taps, shower door had...

Arrived at 9.30am at the hotel after a night flight. Asked politely if we can check in early as there were another couple who were there. Told to wait in the lounge till 1pm!!! Not happy. Apart from that, the location to the city, transport, foods were good.A/c,wifi, fridge, kettle work well. There is a microwave, plates and cutleries for simple...

Such a great hotel, kind and attentive staff and spotlessly clean. But just when you get your room to a desired temperature, if the motion sensor doesn't detect movement, the temperature increases to 23 degrees. For me this was just too warm. I was given a fan for my stay but I chose to just turn the air-con off. Which...

Good decent hotel for the low-middle class people and is an excellent hotel to stay in 1 week or more easy. We got what we expected and the staff were very friendly and good to us. The hotel is also nearby to train stations and is also just a short walk away from tourist attractions.

Great location to enjoy the Sydney CBD. Close to train station which unlocked the wider Sydney suburbs allowing for access to major events outside of the metropolitan area. Was there for the magnificent Liverpool FC visit.

Great location! Perfect for a couple of days in the Sydney CBD. Our room was excellent with a kitchenette, table and chairs, lounge as well as a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The staff on the reception desk were very helpful.

Hotel is walking distance to several locations of interest, e.g. Chinatown, Koreatown, Hyde Park, and the CBD. Its proximity to the Museum Railway Station is also helpful when getting to and from the airport. Rooms are a reasonable size though cleanliness might be subpar occasionally. Staff is very helpful and polite.

Stayed 3 nights for business. Didn't want to spend a fortune so this hotel is reasonable for the money. Only real problem was the bed. The springs on 1 side were completely gone...I had to sleep on the other side. No problem this time as by myself but if I'd been with my husband I would have had to request...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
