Easy walk to transport and shopping. Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Very competitive rates compared to other hotels in centre of Sydney

Very reasonable accommodation and breakfast in a convenient location for harbours and opera house. We felt the only thing that let the hotel down was the carpet which had seen better days. Otherwise the hotel was clean and bed linen was fresh.

It doesn't seems to be a 3 star category Hotel. Rooms carpet old & not clean, bad smell, breakfast no variety, bathrooms very small no swimming pool breakfast time & tour time doesn't match once some food is out of stock it is not refilled immediately.

Pick somewhere else, old and smelly and airconditioning poor. The location is good but very poor value for money. The bed was uncomfortable, room temperature hot. Everything out dated and you can see they do not spend anything on the rooms. Hall carpet very old and also smelly.

The rooms were pricey due the Mardi Gras Festival, I've never stayed at a Travelodge before, they are fine for a budget hotel, the rooms have all the facilities but the care factor seems to be missing a little in the room presentation and cleanliness

This was a nice central location but the air conditioning was very loud and there was not enough shampoo and conditioner. The staff were very welcoming upon check in and check out which made the stay comfortable.

Quite simply, poor. Where do I start? No hand towels in bathroom. Bathroom door knocks the toilet seat when you open and close it. Barely enough room to unpack your cases. We had 2 adults and a child in our room and it was simply far too small. Very expensive I feel for the standards offered. Only good point was...

Clean and comfortable rooms. Thought the bathroom was dated. Very friendly staff and were accommodating to my health needs. Thought the breakfast was overpriced for the food available. Good location for the price you pay.

Very poor value for money. Room was very average for a very high price. Location was good but I would rather stay somewhere where you actually had value for money. If you are going to pay $350/night for a room, you would expect to get enough soap and shampoo! Just one example of very poor value.

This hotel is very average & very busy but at $190AUD without breakfast it's very over price because it's a very utilitarian design and the rooms are a bit shabby. The location is close for Gay Sydney but a bit of a walk for other sights & the train is 4 stations in the loop before Town Hall - it's...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
