Location is perfect and when walking in looked the part. However, the counter member of staff clearly had just got up and wasn't very helpful or quick. The room was okay, high up with good view across the city and had a safe, air con and the bed and pillows were okay. However, the bathroom was not the standard that...

The room was very clean and they changed towels every day. The walls are thin and you can hear the next room. The location is neither near nor far from center. The service was very good as they allowed us to check-in early without any extra charge.

which was excessively firm. Room was small and smelling of damp. Temperature could not be controlled below a balmy 23deg, not great when it was 35 outside. No room service, no mini bar, not even a bottle of fresh water. Place looked tired with the only marginal upside being the location near transport and Hyde Park.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Much appreciated after overnight flight. Baggage storage provided and room ready at agreed time. Booked more than 2 nights and got free breakfast which was 1st class. Enough to set you up for the day. Centrally situated, close to station from airport and easy walking distance to all places of interest. Good value

Management has set the airconditioning to default at 23 degrees. Guests can adjust but it resents back to 23 degrees- very uncomfortable temperature. Took 50 minutes to have a broken TV attended to and I had to use my mobile as there's no reception link on their phone system.

Stayed for 3 nights. Location wise is ok, but there are also better options nearby. A few blocks down to Chinatown area. No pickup from this hotel for the local tours. There is a convenient store across the road. Very close to Hyde Park. About 20 mins plus walk to Sydney Opera House. Get Opal card from convenient store for...

Hard to find hotels with three single beds, this suited our needs. The location was excellent to transport and shopping, Good safe location. Nice and sound proofed, internally and external noise not noticeable..

great location to use public transport from. room was ok nothing flash but the shower needed a proper clean. other than this it was good for Sydney prices. no onsite parking is a drawback if you have a car but with its central location you really wont need one if sightseeing in sydney

Great location very central, clean and polite service. Nearby cafés and supermarkets, close to Hyde Park, Capitol Theatre and easy walk to Chinatown. Secure Parking on Goulburn street and well priced for the entire weekend, only $12 per day.

you get what you pay for. The airconditioning system was pumping out hot air during summer! you could turn the system down but would automatically go back up to 25 degrees and there was no windows. made for very sleepless nights!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
