Pre-booked the room. the online system failed me. used email to query it. Received a condescending email. The communication is, well really really poor! Would have been nice to have faster better and more accurate kind communication! I note you have a "Don't" item about CAPS, find my email - see how CAPS was used by your representative to me!!! The fact that these "Don't" tips exists tells me heaps! Then, when we book into the room we stay in has cockroaches under the bar fridge. I had to move the fridge and clean under it as this was upsetting my child. Then, whilst living there for the 11 days we had to call the cleaner about 4 times to get our room cleaned - even though we asked when we left (Saw the person on the floor - said "hey, we'll be back in about 4ish hours, can we have it cleaned please" . Lo and behold - it wasn't! There was think dust behind the TV probably months worth, have a look, ask the cleaners to clean it! Saw this in both rooms we booked into. The bathrooms - there's holes in the tiles (again both bathrooms). All up a pretty poor experience - my wife and I agreed to not get upset and waste our precious vacation time getting emotional about it complaining to staff. We were really looking for a good first holiday post Covid - you made it very sad.. …
The Rydges World Square is an awesome place to stay, walking distance to everything you need and want to see while in Sydney. Also close to restaurants and theatres. The family room is so good and makes the stay even better. The staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem.
Stayed one night here before boarding our cruise ship. Hotel is clean with comfortable beds in a decent sized room. We took a room for 4 and even with our luggages, we did not feel cramped inside. Situated in a convenient location. Highly recommend the Japanese sushi restaurant Makoto which is 2 doors down. Friendly staff.
We have stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints, Lovely clean and comfortable room, great price and perfect location. Staff were lovely. Room description did say room included robe and slippers but we couldn't find them!
The room was perfect, it was only a weekend stay to go to a show at the Capitol so was the perfect location, the room was clean, the bed was comfy with awesome pillows, friendly staff so no complaints here, thank you
Room was reasonably clean and service was average, but hotel location was the best. Lots of food places nearby. Supermarket was just next door at World Square. Public transports make travel around CBD with ease.
We had a great stay at Rydges World Square. Our 1 bedroom room was big. Plenty of room for the family. Room was clean and tidy, albeit a tad basic. All the staff were very pleasant. We had a minor issue after check out that was promptly resolved by the assistant manager. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Excellent location. The family room was big enough and clean. Amazing staff however ,I had to make 4 calls for the same bedding request. Eventually the request was met later that evening due to housekeeping staff shortage . Will recommend this hotel and will stay there again
Well, first time we went to Sydney and I’m glad we stayed in your hotel. The staff so friendly and very accommodating. Shops and restaurants is walking distance, everything is there. Thanks guys for look after us while we staying and we come again next with my friends.
Room was ready on time and check-in was easy. We had a family room and the room was well-appointed with plenty of space for our suitcases. The shower was really nice. Beds were great and so were the pillows! The hotel is in a great location with trains and trams outside the door and tonnes of restaurants. The pub onsite was also nice with super friendly staff. I would recommend. When the beds, shower and location are good- you are on to a winner! My only complaint was that my room was not serviced- not sure why as I put the tag on the door to indicate I wanted a service. We only stayed two nights though so it was not such a big deal.
