The Castlereagh Boutique Hotel... Let's start with the good news: Great location without a doubt, with nearby shops, restaurants and attractions. The room was a little on the small side, however we weren't spending our whole week in a dim lit room. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The hotel also provides Wifi with...

This hotel is very well located in Sydney; whether you are a tourist or businessman you would be hard pressed to want better. The room was adequately appointed , a bit crusty (read old fashioned) but functional . Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. Wifi was good. The problem that i had was that i booked and paid through...

We have used this hotel a number of times. It is so central to shopping and also a good price. It is reasonably convenient to the theatre if you don't mind a bit of a walk and excellent for train connections to the airport from Museum station. The rooms (and bathrooms) are small but this is fine for an overnight...

I came for a work trip and was so disappointed in the terrible service, small rooms and disgusting airport transport 'airbus' driver who took me to the airport. The room was so small I couldn't get into my bathroom without jumping over the bed. I stubbed my toe countless times. The room was loud and I could hear everything from...

My girlfriend and myself stay in this hotel during the Sydney Mardi Gras parade. The location was perfect, the front desk staff was very nice and very helpful. We love the room very much, quite, clean and comfortable. Next time when I stay in the city again. This hotel will be my first choice.

This hotel in a historic Masonic Lodge building is lovely and very well located, near Hyde Park, Queen Victoria Building, St. James MTR station. Our room was fairly basic but nice and clean. It is an excellent value, and the staff was quite helpful.

Stayed here because the normal hotels around the office where I attend a board meeting were full or very expensive because of Valentines Day. Rooms were tiny and bed was super uncomfortable - thin mattress over slats. Still, probably all that I should expect for what I paid.

Luckily found a great price on one room. (( they were unaware that offer was out there.. and originally suggested it was not valid )) and they didn't honour the price they originally quoted on the other room... So a bit out of touch at the front desk. Interesting old place - with old the key word.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
