The hotel is in a fantastic location when your team is playing an away game at the SCG, probably only 10 minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was large and had a balcony looking to the street. Pleasant experience, decent continental breakfast. As a...More
My hotel room was one of the smallest at the front so a lot of street noise. The bed was uncomfortable and bathroom was basic. The complimentary continental breakfast really was basic.... in stark contrast to the many cafes locally which offered the best of...More

I am sorry to say I was disappointed with this hotel.
It is in a great location with loads of bars and restaurants around the area and if you enjoy a nice walk the center of town is not to far to away.
Room was large and (rear of building) quiet and well-appointed. Location is excellent, close to city, Oxford St, public transport. Continental breakfast included. Building is older-style (once a guesthouse?) but reasonably modern inside.

Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small
designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
