The place is located in the center of the city. Really close to everything and a train station that's within 1-2 minutes walking distance. HOWEVER (!!!)-- it is not so clean, not so quiet, staff aren't very friendly, very uncomfortable beds and pillows, free WiFi that doesn't always work and not good value for money...

This hostel has a great location, good working wifi and nice staff! It's just a 3 min walk from Town hall station and in the middle of the city centre. The beds are good, I stayed in a 16 dorm bed room, everybody had their own locker. Kitchen works well and is clean! Also a televison room with wifi, tables...

I returned to this hostel again and the place is shocking. Rude, Unhelpful Staff that just want your money. Shocking. I came here hoping it would just be for a few days but it was five weeks. You have to book a week in advance to get the special rate. Even if you are a regular after so many weeks...

You get what you pay for. Everything is OK until the last day. A day before departure I asked the hostel front desk to book a shuttle bus to the airport for me. I asked the clerk whether I could get a receipt he said yes. But when I asked the driver for a receipt. He refused. I showed the...

From the carboard mattresses to the combination of thin sheets and powerful air conditioning this is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Room was far too cold, staff are unhelpful and rude. There is no atmosphere, would not come here to make friends. The air con made me and my friend sick after only one night

a very nasty hostel! As a backpacker you want to meet people but there is no warming common area to stay and meet people. And there is not even the basics! Only one bowl for breakfast to share with maybe a hundred backpackers! The room where we were smell very very bad! The mattresses are whether horribly soft or horribly...

Stayed in a 16 bed dorm, 10 bed dorm and 8 bed dorm. 16 bed dorm has very good value. Hostel has a roof-top to chill on, a kitchen/lounge area and a laundry room as well. For a smaller hostel it never feels crowded anywhere and is in a great location in the middle of Sydney

Very affordable, excellent location, friendly staff, and relaxed party free atmosphere with a majority of guests being calm Asians. Toilets and showers were in good conditions. These were all great attributes of this hostel. But on the down side are two big minuses, the biggest: just when I was about to sleep it started to stink cigarette smoke in my...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
