Our trip to Sydney was a child free weekend to celebrate a special occasion and we are trying not to let our stay here marr our trip. The person who checked us in was lovely and friendly but it all went downhill from there. Our room was a long narrow room where the bed was jammed into one corner. Whoever...

This was our second stay here and both times have been trouble free staff have always been great rooms always clean. Location is great and central for our needs and parking close by. Only negative is that the streets are a little noisy at night but that cant be avoided and I am a light sleeper so might have been...

A great hotel in a central location. Easy to access local landmarks, shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. Clean and tidy, good size rooms and lovely staff. Free wifi not very good though. Great value for the price.

Nice room other than the mildew in the room. The rest of the hotel was also clean and tidy. Staff friendly and attentive. Location to the centre of the city was excellent for us, walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

An amazingly tiny room that was very cramped more like a hallway than a room. I had to open & close the blinds by jumping on the bed walking over the bed pull then blinds & then walk back across the bed. Though the bathroom has been refreshed, the actual room itself had out-dated furniture & Fittings. No free Wi-Fi

Cold shower, stained carpet, teabags not restocked, crockery not washed and headboard above single beds peeling and flaking onto pillows. Apart from this, the location was good and only steps away from everything.

Luke warm shower spoilt our stay. Tea cups and cutlery not replaced or washed. Tea bags not restocked. Carpet stained. Beds were reasonably comfortable, but a hot shower is a must. While the location is central, we won't be staying here again.

Check in / reception staff were so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was a trouble for them or the maintenance guy.Lots of potential for this place when renovations and room upgrades take place. Great location.

Carpet very stained and dirty. Bathroom nice - good water pressure and roomy shower. Very small room with nowhere to sit and work on a laptop, except the single bed. Climate control did not work - portable heater supplied by helpful front desk staff.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
