Like previous reviewers have pointed out this place can be a little tricky to find. However armed with that knowledge we had no problems locating the APX apartments. The best part about this property is the location. Smack bang in the middle of Chinatown with loads of good restaurants right on your door step. Just 1 block over is a...

I stayed here on a business trip, I booked the hotel myself as I like to stay close the Darling Harbour. The hotel itself is very difficult to find with only one way street entrance, it took me an hour to actually find this hotel & its car park. The checkin process was not very professional from staff and no...

A 24hour manned reception with polite and helpful staff. Perfect location just on the edge of the harbour. Gym access at their other compound (2mins walk). Walking distance from everything. Comfortable rooms, plenty of space, good bathroom. Happy days.

Great location, right in the heart of China Town. A bit hard to get to by car, but it does have secure parking. If travelling this way, I would suggest you ask for instructions. Room was much bigger than most Sydney budget hotel rooms, and was very clean and comfortable, with all facilities you could ask for. Staff were very...

The hotel's location which is very strategic and close to all the attractions is excellent. Amenities were praiseworthy. The biggest grouse has to be the lazy housekeepers! We were in the room when they knocked the door to clean the unit, so we told them to come back in 30 minutes time as we were in the midst of getting...

Clean, comfortable and in a great location. I stayed with business associates in a one bedroom apartment on the 9th floor. Located on a street full of lovely asian restaurants with the entrance to Chinatown at the end of the street. Paddy's Markets and Darling Harbour a very short walk across pedestrian bridge. City Centre, QVB & Hyde Park just...

Great location. Clean comfortable room. Had to wait 1.5 hours for clean towels when we contacted reception. Would have thought a **** hotel would have serviced rooms daily. Bath mat was more like a hand towel. Shower very small considering size of bathroom.

Booked for an executive room, level 2 when I got to our room noticed 2 small heaters an balcony door opened really didn't take note as I was in a hurry to drop off belongings to the room. Returned to the room around 1830hrs noticed the room muggy humid, an realised that the carpet was wet in the corner it...

The Apartment was clean, comfortable, elegant and the staff service was great. More so the price we were offered was reasonable and worth it. The Location in the midst of the city was also great and the facilities such as kitchen facilities and Laundry in the 1 Bedroom are very convenient for long stays. Definitely a hotel worth visiting again.

I had a great stay at APX Darling Harbour, I travel on business frequently, and can definitely recommend this hotel for business travel in the Sydney CBD. Rooms are well maintained, the executive room I was in had it's own balcony as well (view not great). Great, attentive staff at the front desk (ask for Kamal), and free Wi-Fi is...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
