We stayed in the Amora this weekend to celebrate my birthday in the city as the location is excellent, being close to everywhere we wanted to be We booked (at a $300 per night premium) an Executive Suite Tradional for the space and access to the Jamison Executive Club . Unfortunately we found out two days before our visit that the Jamison Club was closed and a temporary area allocated in the L1 bar. Whilst this did not impact breakfast much as the restaurant was quiet, we may have decided to go elsewhere if we had known earlier The room on L33 was very spacious with great views. The bathroom was excellent but the bed was very soft which both my wife and I did not like but our daugher loved! I also have a bone to pick on parking. The carpark is owned by Carepark. I called them on Friday and was advised that the cost if we parked after Friday at 5pm for the weekend would be $55. On checking out we were charged $114 by the hotel. I suspect that if we had just taken our ticket to the car park machine at the exit it would have been $55 (lesson learnt) Having said that all the staff were very helpful and friendly We will be visiting the city again in April and we are undecided yet if we will book again

We had a great time staying on Amora during our honeymoon. We went to four different hotels during our trip and posted the comment in the remarks "It's our honeymoon!" Amora was the only hotel to notice with a congratulations when we arrived. Overall we felt very welcome

We had a delightful stay at Amora. We normally stay at other hotels when in Sydney but Amora really impressed us. The check in was flawless and seamless. We could get access to the room when we arrived at the property. The room was beautifully appointed , quiet and with spectacular views. The cleanliness is worth mention . We had a couple of drinks at the bar and the service is impeccable, warm and friendly. We had a surprise bottle of sparkling wine in our room. Thank you. It was indeed a beautiful and memorable stay. We strongly reccomend Amora for its location, service and attention to detail. We will be back!

I have stayed at this hotel so many times prior to covid as it’s my partners go to hotel for business. This is by far the worse stay. Considering this was a COVID hotel it certainly didn’t have cleaning standards. Used tampon wrappers in toilet bin, soap scum on the shower glass, mould around the bathroom tap and tooth paste some one has spat out on the head of the tap! Our stay started of badly from the get go. No one to take the car at valet parking. No one to town the door. A man come over as we where checking in and just says have you checked in can I see your vaccination certificate. This is a pet hate of mine, greet the guest first welcome them to the hotel none of this happened. This stay was so disappointing this is not the 5 star hotel we have grown to love to stay in. The service was almost none, not to mention for a five star hotel we called reception 6 times before the call got through to ask for some cutlery as they have none in the from and the lady at reception said it’s $7!!! To use cutlery wow! You can even get cutlery for free from an ibis! I was actually shocked! The spa was also out of service. The stay was just such a disappointment

I would like to compliment the chef who prepares for the menu for hotel guests under quarantine. The food is so delicious all the time! We are enjoying it! Salmon terriyaki .... Kassler smoked pork loin ......Mango cheese cake are the favorites so far!
