The Amora Hotel Jamison is very well located in Sydney, a very short walk from Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo. The room was great too, very comfortable! Great service by friendly staff.

We chose the Amora Hotel Ja,mison after arriving back in Sydney after a cruise. The hotel is within walking distance from the cruise terminal at Circular Quay. We chose to walk via Pitt and Bridge Streets. Crossing George Street can be a tricky because of the light rail construction work but we encountered no problems Jamison Street is quite steep...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Amora for a full week last week. The Amora's location is unbeatable - centrally located. It is only a few minute walk from my office and also incredibly close to getting to the Rocks or Circular Quay. The room I was provided was great. It is readily apparent that the room was...

My husband & I stayed in this hotel as he was celebrating a milestone Birthday. We had a great time. This is a very nice hotel, in a great location. The lovely lady at reception gave us a room in the 34th floor. It was very clean and the large king bed was so comfortable. I would highly recommend this...

A nice inner city hotel. The Amora is well situated to the north end of the CBD and The Rocks with a kind of nice seclusion oddly afforded by the light rail construction on George Street. This makes this end of Jamison Street a temporary cul de sac allowing quiet and peacful access to the Amora. The lobby is busy...

Hotel is walking distance to circular quay ferries and darling harbour. Room was very clean, comfortable and a good size for our overnight stay. We received an upgrade so the view was great from the 31st floor.

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Amora Jamison Hotel in a Tower Deluxe King Room on the 24th floor. We arrived quite early from the airport (before mid-day), however the very pleasant check-in staff were able to allocate our room straight away. The room was very spacious with everything that one would expect from a 5 star hotel. Situated...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
