I stayed there for 6 nights in a 4 bed female dorm. My room was filthy but I guess it depends on your roommates because I came back there for another night and that time I was in a different room and it was really clean. Kitchen is small, which makes it easy to socialize. I had a lot of...

I have been here for a few times already because it has a good price-performance value, the facilities are clean and the staff friendly. But! And here comes the point: my room mates were the filthiest I've met so far; it was stinky and dirty in my room, everywhere was rubbish and it smelled sweaty. I told the receptionist and...

In a subort, a good fine YHA close to theCity. 15 min to fishmarket, silent in night, good service and nice crew. Late Arriving from airport, after 11 pm, no problem to check in, the rest of booking next day in the morning. Great, clean and supportet kitchen. A good Base to conquer and visit Sydney.

This is one of the best hostels that I've been so far! The facilities are amazing, very clean and cosy. The game room and TV room has air cond and the bedroom has wall to charge your devices in each bed.

The location is the best of this hostel, situated in a cool neighborhood, full of cafes, pubs and restaurants (try the thai Tom Yum). But our room (5 beds female) was very hot and a little bit smelly. The toilets also weren't clean and a little bit tired. The kitchen is well equipped but also lacks some cleaning... The rooftop...

We stayed here for 3 nights after having an awful experience with a hostel in the centre of Sydney. It was exactly what we were after. We had a twin room on the ground floor. It was really quiet and staff friendly. The decor was a bit tired but all was clean. The beds were really comfortable. The rooftop terrace...

Could not have been more pleased with the location of this hostel as Glebe was a charming neighborhood full of historical houses and fantastic restaurants. I stayed in a private single room and the room was very clean and quiet with a sink and a small closet. The room also had a window, which helped it stay cool on the...

4 bed room, clean, nice kitchen, really nice and helpful staff, met lots of cool people there, close to glebe markets, just a cute place to chill out (not too much for party) and see a different side of beautiful sydney!

I have stayed in both the double private room and the 4 share room many, many times. The location is absolutely awesome, and I have great sleep every time I stay. The place remains consistently clean and friendly, but sometimes the reception is a bit luke warm. It has a high turn over of tourist in the bust season, and...

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
