We thought we were staying at a lovely historic building...not. Historic, but old and tired. The carpets were threadbare and the owner was the opposite of warm and friendly. This was our second to the last stop on a months vacation. Without a doubt the worst place on our itinerary. But the one positive was a great location. My advise....

We enjoyed our time at the B&B. Everything was spotless clean, check in was quick and efficient and beds were unbelievably comfortable. Breakfast consisted on different cereals , choice of bread, tea, coffee, juices, fruits and 2 hot options if one is feeling a little hungry - what more do people want for breakfast ?? The service is friendly and professional and...

The place is close to the city and eating and drinking venues with plenty of stairs if you walk from the city. it is 3 stories with only internal wooden stairs for access. basic breakfast and friendly hosts. it is a bit tired and there would be no escape from the top floor if there was a fire.

Clean and tidy. I was in the Mariquette(?) with the bathroom across the hall. Private does not mean the restroom will be in your room. Mary and her husband were attentive and nice, owners parents. The young lady was a bit short when I tried to change my breakfast order. For breakfast you can have eggs, bacon, tomatoes, beans, toast,...

easy to find, no car needed after being dropped off from the airport. Walked around the Rocks and Circular Quay. Was very excited to see our view from the window, top floor, ensuite and views to the Opera House. More excited the morning we looked out and saw our cruise ship in port.

We arrived mid-morning with luggage and were warmly greeted by Linda and James who checked us in, gave us a door key and explained the entry system when the outer door was closed. Arriving back at the hotel after 2pm we found our luggage had been taken to the 2nd floor outside our room (thank you). We had the Phillip...

This is supposed to be one of the top B&B's in Sydney with a rating of 4-1/2 stars. It is at best 2 stars! The pictures look nothing like the reality. The spaces are not clean. The rooms are sparse and felt old. The safe did not work. When we tried to cancel our reservation we were told that we...

Dear Gayle4683 Thank you for taking time to review Sydney Harbour B&B. This reservation was held for over 1 year and upon arrival it became known that the guest had not checked which room they had actually booked. We believe that 1 year was adequate time to have reviewed the cancellation policy (which is not fine print) and which room...

Lovely B&B situated in great location for visiting Sydney. Close to the rocks where there are great pubs, restaurants and bars; as well as being 2 min walk from central quays where you can get ferry pretty much anywhere in the city. James and linda were great throughout the stay; very warm and welcoming and put on a great breakfast....

My wife, young baby and I had a lovely stay over the Easter weekend. We stayed in the Philip Room which has an excellent view of the Opera House. This view can be obscured by some of the larger cruise ships that berth at OPT, but we found that it added to the experience as it changes every day. The...

Clean and tidy B&B in a historical building. Owners are helpful. Located at the top of The Rocks so be prepared for stairs. The Rocks is full of stairs. Great place to use as a base as you go out exploring. Thought it might be noisy overnight due to its location but it wasn't, that was a nice surprise. Cooked...
