The location was good as it was very near to King Cross Station. Hence, it is very convenient to head to the city with just one train station away! The outside of hotel itself is a cafe by the name of Petrol. Well, it is not a petrol station but a place with pretty good food. Give it a try...

The room in the basement was small however i got used to it . The air conditioning was perfect . I don't recommend that you open the basement room window and keep the blackouts closed as well . Overall , it is definitely value for money as it's situated in the heart of Sydney .

The lodge is located in a busy area but it is close to the William St, where you can go to many city attractions. I stayed in a 17m room located at the back on the first floor, room 101. The bed was really confortable, the bathroom is too small but they change towels everyday. There is a LCD TV,...

The images of the Springfield lodge indicate a better quality lodge then it is in reality. On the image of the outside you see a terrace which does not belong to the lodge. You have to pass the cafe to which that terrace belong to get into the lodge itself. Rooms are very simple: almost bare. Basement rooms have just...

Clean and tidy... Modern with old charms. Bathroom was tiny if you were on the larger size good luck. Location great although if you are a light sleeper like myself you may not get much sleep as I experienced.

The room is clean and big but bathroom is a bit small. A bit noisy as you can hear sounds from the other rooms. Good location as it is very near to Kings Cross Station. Hotel provide free wifi at 500mb per day.

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. My mums room was fine. The other room was disappointing, the kettle spout was dirty on arrival and left white floating bits on the drinks. I took it down to reception and the night manager did lend me the staff kettle and advised it would be rectified the following day. On retiring to my...

I spent 6 nights at the Springfield Lodge in Sydney in November 2016. I stayed in a room on the top (4th) floor. As mentioned by other reviewers one has to walk up one flight on a narrow staircase. No big deal if you have reasonable size luggage. And yes the room is small; at 6 ft tall when sitting...
