The Motel was good and clean the staff are friendly with check in and checkout its close to everything Westfield ,Town Hall, Wynyard Stations QVB Building and Cafes and restaurants and attractions to see. The only thing bad about the place was the shower curtain in the shower as the way its set up makes you look like and feel your going in a hospital room to have a procedure or operation on lol and also the view i was expecting a view of the city as we were on the 5th floor but when i looked out it was only the motel building itself nothing else but i would stay here again in future the air con was good and Wi fi and tv was good as well.
Horrible, Walls are a synthetic fabric, if you have any type of allergy, STAY AWAY , feel like I am in room with Fiberglass! Staff could not accommodate any type of room with proper ventilation. BAD!.
Stayed there for our 20 th anniversary wasn't happy at all I asked for early check in when we arrived at mid-day we were told to go for a walk for 2 hrs we were already buggered and then room wasn't ready till 3 o'clock room Verry small no windows to open and the doona had makeup on it and no top sheet just bottom sheet no water or ice in the bar fridge Verry Verry disappointed was looking forward to having a lovely evening on our anniversary not happy at all
Hotel is not fancy but adequate and perfectly situated for touring Sydney. Rooms were clean and showers nice. Breakfast was a bonus. Our only complaint was that our emails were never replied to meaning we had to take the subway from the airport and they didn’t honour our request for early checkin.
I had booked the economy single room because I was on a budget; for 6 nights. When I checked in and had access to my room, it was at the end of a corridor with a few stairs. When I entered the room, it was much smaller than what came out through the pictures. Much much smaller. I had two pieces of luggage and could not open both of them in the room. I was disappointed straight away with the size of the room and felt quite claustrophobic in it as the very small window was not having any natural light but was giving on the inside of a building. Then, I took a nap and got woken up by a bug running around my face. I realised it was a bug when I got up quickly being scared by it and then it flew on the little table next to the bed (I have a video). That was the last straw for me. I went to reception and asked if I could have a bigger room and informed about the bug. I was offered another room for two nights only because they were full and was offered to have the room cleaned once again even though I had just checked in. I was not happy with this as I had just checked in and was feeling very uncomfortable at the idea of staying in such a single room for 6 nights so I offered to make a compromise of me going somewhere else with a refund or partial refund. I was just met with a "no" from the reception and nothing else. I then left the hotel 30 mins later as there was no way I was staying in a room much smaller than advertised and with insects in it. Very disappointing.…
Excellent location in York St so easy to Town Hall station and the light rail in George St. Came by bus and train from airport, cheap way is catch the bus outside to Mascot station then the train to Town Hall and save heaps. Very friendly staff and good coffee and toasted ham and cheese sandwich in the lobby for breakfast. Room was clean and quiet and we were very happy with our stay, will recommend to family and friends. The Coles supermarket is almost opposite and the Woolworths on the corner opposite Town Hall. Caught the light rail to Circular Quay and the ferry to Manly and the Zoo.
This is a great hotel perfectly situated for all of the main attractions and sights. Had a lovely comfortable room and even though it overlooked the main road we didn't hear any noise. Complementary coffee and toast in the morning were a nice touch. Will definitely return
Stayed 3 nights before and after a cruise. Perfect place to stay. We caught a shuttle bus from airport to front door.light rail stop to either central station or circular quay a hundred metres away. Excellent facilities, although room was not real large, but fine for a few days stopover. Superb cafe across the street for breakfast, and an Irish pub just around the corner. Very economical price at around $120 per night.
Basic city hotel, rooms are comfortable, no breakfast included but they do hot drinks & toast in the reception area free of charge. This is in a great location, not far from most places of interest & up the road from the train station & bus stops.
I liked the hotel very much. Location is prefect, close to an area with some clubs and Chinatown with a lot of good restaurants. The room was large and my fear that it were too loud (after reading other reviews) unnecessary. My room had a window only to an inner courtyard, for rooms facing the street that may be different. I also appreciated that they have a small complimentary breakfast to start the day. The price was high but probably adequate for Sydney.
