Perry's, like most everywhere in Daly River is an RV establishment. It is well off the beaten path and no food nearby. We were the only guests beyond a fellow at the other end in a camper. We have traveled extensively through Australia over 30 years and were happy just to have a bed with air conditioning - but this...

We drove down from Darwin in search of something special and found it here. This side of the river is just magic as it has both the fishing and the natural beauty with lovely hosts and it's own picturesque billabong.

Thanks Dick and Carol for our wonderful stay. Welcomed with their frozen mangoes yum yum. Dick put us into the fish. A billabong all part of Perrys. Hire a boat, get the good gear from Dick. A room with a view. Come as a guest and leave as a friend. This place must a good people keep coming back year...

If you want peace and quiet, with old fashioned hospitality and facilities this is for you. If you want a 5 star resort, stay in the city-this is not for you. Plenty if fishing spots around and Dick will show you where and how to catch them!

How delightful and laid back, a great location, a pretty drive to get there and a blast from the past , I liked the elevated position, I thought that our host Dick looked after us very well, we had a very quiet spot with great privacy, apart from our dog leaving his bone behind all was well. So go catch...

A last minute decision saw us nipping down to Perry's on the Daly on our way to Katherine from darwin. Couldn't have been happier. Dick is great host. On our arrival he escorted us out in his boat in search of a barra. He had everything pre arranged on our arrival and was overly accomadating with respect to our inexperience...

Carol and Dick are cool hosts. We had the Fishermen's cabin and it was rustic and homely and just what we wanted. There is a nice pool and lots of room for bbqs and meals. Dick took us around his property and gave lots of info on the wildlife and plants. He gave us a boat and let us fish...

We decided to detour on our way south from Darwin and choose the Daly River Area and in particular Perry's on Daly. This location is like a bush camp remote from the world but yet it is only 14klms off the bitumen from the township of Daly River. The owners Carol and Dick have tales to tell about the area...

Arrived to the best welcome you could imagine. Picked a fantastic camping spot and checked out the facilities. Dick is a real character and was full of good advice and helpful tips...and what a sense of humour. Great facilities so close to the wildness of the territory and if the river isn't enough, there is a sensational billabong full of...

Stay on the famous Daly River and try to hook a big Barra. Great rest, great spot and great people. Well worth the effort to get there - actually that's part of the fun - and probably what makes the place so unique and beautiful. If you're a fisherman - or not - and looking for a great relaxing stay,...
