We had the most amazing family stay here and will be back for sure. The staff were so accommodating and wonderfully helpful. We loved walking over to the Alice Springs Brewing Co. And relaxing by the pool. On the Sunday we took part in the free pancakes and the kids loved the facilities. Absolutely loved it.

We rang day of arrival in morning to let them know we would arrive between 7 and 8pm. On arrival management (Guy) was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Because our friends in caravan were running 30 min behind he didn’t want to let them in park and said we should let them sleep on side of road. We weren’t going to do that after a 12 hour day of travelling!! He said we would disturb the other campers with our arrival yet it was empty when we got to our site. He was so full of it and clearly it was his 7pm bedtime that was disrupted by our arrival. After 20 minutes of his rudeness I called him out on it and all of a sudden he tried to be nice which pissed me off even more. If I had known there was a discovery park across the road we would have left there and then. It was the most atrocious check in experience I have ever encountered. Big 4 should be ashamed to have people like this running the park. The only positive was the pool area. But not enough to recommend staying here. Try discovery park instead.

Hi Michelle, I apologise that you've had this experience with our reception staff. Our office is open until 7pm and we are in the back office until 8pm for all check in's. We have a late check in service for cabins and we are reviewing out late check-in policy for sites. The staff member shouldn't have spoken to you in that manner, I apologise for his manner. We have spoken with the staff member in question. I am happy to read you were able to enjoy our pool area. kind regards Ellen Fitzgerald Front Office Manager BIG4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park.

We stayed 3 nights, 2 adults 2 kids under 9, the facilities for kids is great, the pool area is good and spacious with lots of sitting areas. Playground, jumping pillows, pedal carts, games room, they have free activities so check out the what’s on board. We stayed right out the back in an ensuite powered site, the location wasn’t great but the park itself and other powered sites looked great. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. The staff were great even had a groundsman come help us get our van in.

3 adults stayed here for 2 nights with 6yo child. We had a 2 bedroom ensuite cabin which was clean and tidy. The only issue I had was with the mattress on the double bunk bed as it was foam and flattened out where you can feel the slats/base. It advertises sealy posturpedic beds... maybe just the one bed? The rest of the park is fabulous it has everything you expect of a large Big 4 park. Jumping pillow, pools (heated but struggling due to cold weather), slides, playground, games rooms, pedal carts, bike hire and much more. We were lucky enough being there on a Sunday to enjoy a free pancake breakfast. (I wish they advertised that they have donation charity tins as I would have taken money over). Highly recommend this place with kids!

The staff at the front desk and maintenance people in the park were super helpful when checking in. It was getting dark and we need a big powered site for our van. They did everything they could to find us a great spot for our 3 night stay. The park amenities are excellent. Laundry facilities excellent and facilities for the kids excellent. Based on the number of bikes snd scooters, it could do with a Modular Pumptrack like other BIG4 parks have - these are great when dads and the older kids go to the MTB trails and mum stays back at the park with the younger kids - they don’t feel they are missing out on the riding fun - everyone happy. Camp kitchen facilities also excellent. Great to see the strawberry van still here - it’s been 10 years since we were last here! One of the best parks up north!!
