Yikes. A hard-plastic shower insert thing in the corner of the room was not a good start - reminded me of staying in a crappy over-priced ‘donga’ when crossing the Nullarbor. Felt like a cheap mattress in a cheap bed. Sigh. Warnings of car break-ins and it felt creepy and unsafe to be locked out of my room by the key card not working FOUR times and then shouted at by the older woman receptionist who’s rudeness is legendary, apparently. I was in a hurry to get to a work meeting. Did she care? Nup. Couldn’t care less. Shoved paper at me when I asked for a few sheets to write some notes in. Said there ‘was’t any’. Reeaally?? I had to suggest copy paper as she didn’t. It was a really awful experience. At night, when i FINALLY got through to the after hours number I was told I couldn’t have been phoning long as they had only just closed the office! At a conference the next day I heard another person complaining about the same lack of service (she was locked out of her room too), so I didn’t imagine it, believe me. I feel sorry for the owners of this place. and sorry for me who stayed there.

This property is way overpriced. It is very outdated, the room interiors are really outdated especially the bathroom. There were stains in the carpet, the room phone didn't work and it had a very small TV in the room. You can't fill the jug with water to have a cup of tea, the jug won't fit under the tap. Toilet paper was cheap and nasty. The fridge was wobbly and didn't have any cold water in it. The only nice thing about our room was that it had nice views over the pool area, which looked quite nice. There was no restaurant, we had to order in a pizza from outside. The two girls on the front desk at check-in really couldn't help with any of our questions, it was if they were backpackers picking up a few days work.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your expectations were not met. Our restaurant was actually closed 18 months ago and our website reflects. Due to Health & Safety Regulations you are not allowed to leave cold water in the fridges any longer.

Our room had a dirty bathroom, stains on the carpet, missing light globes, too few towels, filthy mirrors, both curtains falling off their rails and it smelled of sewerage. We let the manager know but she didn't believe us and said she would send someone who she could trust to take a look sometime later that day. Her reaction to an unsatisfied guest was to try to argue with them. Between the cleaner and ourselves, we eventually got the room more habitable. A few days later, some other guests partied outside their room until 4:45am with loud music and drinking. When we approached the same manager about this, she said that it was not her problem. She said that those guests are managed by a different company, and that we should call them ourselves, or call the police ourselves. The manager needs training in hospitality.

Stayed at this hotel after a number of nights ‘roughing it’, it seemed like luxury 😊. Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable although the bathrooms were a bit tired. Location was great, as far enough away from the centre to be quiet but close enough for ease of access Security was good too with off street parking for vans and trailers too

Thank you for your review. As you say our location is ideal - just out of the town centre with ample parking for larger vehicles. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Management lied about my last review saying accommodation only for small to medium dogs? Lied about knowledge of police coming after my car got broken into. And lied about my pets urinating on the bed. (If they had to throw our a mattress...I'm sure they would of charged me more than $100? They said this was for cleaning fee for pet hair. Comfortable stay... But don't leave nothing in your car. And if anything goes wrong or your pets are bigger than a mouse... expect extra charges... Very rude female at reception. Never will forget or stay there again.
