What a terrible place to stay. we felt totally unsafe. in fact, we propped chairs againist the doors while sleeping. propery well worn. although they are on rhe "mall," the "mall" is a short street with few resturants and deserted at night. Stay at one of the chain hotels near the casino. you will pay more but you will have peace of mind.
Good hotel in the city center of Alice. The rooms are quiet and clean but nothing special. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is on Todd mall with several restaurants. Ideally booked for one night on arrival or departure.
Situated between the Todd River and the Todd Mall, this hotel is perfectly located particularly if you don't have a car and want to be able to explore the town on foot. [If you do have a car, there is a car park!] The rooms were modest but clean with good bench space and there are also some shady outdoor areas to sit. We didn't try the pool which is tucked away in a corner but at least there is one. And the food at Italian restaurant that's part of the building was of a good quality.
Easily one of the best if not the best hostel we've ever stayed at. It's quirky, homely, cozy, and clean all at the same time. It's clear that Seb and Miriam care about the guests and do everything they can to make them feel at home. We stayed here for one night, but came back for another one a week later. Definitely Alice's best secret!
Stayed for 5 nights. Very handy to Todd Mall and breakfast at Bella Alice was nice with a good selection. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. Quiet at night with a big screen TV to watch. Free WiFi as well with 24 hour reception.
I stayed at stay at Alice for 5 nights before and after Trek Larapinta. The queen bed was very comfortable and clean, only suggestion would be a microwave. The heating/air-conditioning worked well. The location was very central to restaurants and shopping centres. Would definitely stay here again when in Alice:)
Stayed here before and a trek. Both rooms were comfortable, tidy and SAFE. Central location to the CBD within easy walking distance. The grounds appeared to be undergoing an upgrade. Upper rooms facing the riverbed were smaller but ideal for a solo traveller. It had the largest tv I have ever seen in a comparable room & was great to watch the Birmingham Commonwealth games!
Stayed at Stay at Alice Springs for 5 nights. Great location in town provides walking access to tourist attractions for those with no car. Yes it is a tired property. The best part of our stay were the great staff from reception to housekeeping. Great service and assistance were provided willingly and promptly. A particular thanks to Orville. I would certainly stay here again .
We were very disappointed in the lack of standard and cleanliness. The central location is the only plus of this hotel. Breakfast closed at 8:30 so we were sent away. Bathroom was in a terrible state, mouldy and roof falling in. I would not recommend this hotel.
Booked this hotel as a group of 4 friends, we were all totally horrified at the standard of accommodation. If you’re after a serial killer vibe hotel this is it. The room smelt of mould, the bedding on one bed had a dirty footprint on it! Totally putrid bathroom. PUTRID. Mould in the shower and paint falling off the ceiling. There was only one person working reception trying to book tour bus groups as well as others in and he was totally overwhelmed. If I could give this hotel no stars I would.
