A range of supplies, meals and drinks can be bought at the station shop, and our camel burgers are a huge favourite with many visitors. Experience an outback adventure built around history, a spectacular landscape, and true Australian hospitality. Ian and Lyn Conway established Kings Creek Station in 1981, and the history of Ian, his family and generations past will be forever recognised and respected.

We stayed in the Escarpment tents - there are only 4. Extraordinary location, really fabulous scenery and great safari tent accomodation. Loved the isolation and serentiy, the wildlife and the amazing outdoor bath! Would definitely go again

Terrible. Site was far to small for a camper trailer. Couldn’t open my stairs or the boat rack fully due to rocks on both sides. Dingoes howled outside camp most of the night. Won’t stay their again. Advise to keep driving to the next stay.😩😩😔😔

Stayed in the tent accommodation, a bit daunting for us as we are in our 70’s but were pleasantly surprised and it was a great experience for a couple of nights. Toilets are a few steps away and in a presentable condition. Breakfast was excellent and we had an evening meal which was as good as you would get in any restaurant. 20k from Kings canyon, but a minor inconvenience and excellent value for money in this area.

Mid day arrival from Uluru, grabbed some food and off to canyon for afternoon walk. Checked in to our bush tents later on and quirky and cosy accommodation. Toilets and shower very close by and we'll presented. Breakfast included was most satisfactory.

Convenient, close to Kings Canyon, nice food with many choices, bush tent is a bit small, only enough space for 2 beds, but cosy and warm with aircon. Good place to stop over on the way to Alice Springs.

It was a great glamping experience. We really enjoyed the accommodation. The service was great. The food was delicious. We did have some issues getting some of the food delivered to our room and the firewood wasn’t topped up so we had to scrounge for more. We also didn’t have enough firelighters so little things like that could be improved. But we would stay here again any day. We really enjoyed the peacefulness, the scenery, the concept of the accommodations.

Fantastic place to stay if you’re visiting the area. We stayed in the Mort Conway tents and loved it… especially sitting on our little balcony with some wine and cheese after a massive hike around the rim. Great food on offer at the restaurant. Really nice people (largely staffed by young travellers… all of whom said they were loving it). 10 stars!

On our road trip through the Red Centre we had a 3 night stop in one of the "Drovers Dream" Tents. Probably 2 nights would have been enough (as we finished the hiking tours in 2 days). But over all we can say that we really enjoyed our stay! The (quite new) Tents are comfortable and offer everything you need - not least: an amazing view! Before arriving we were asked to select Dinner for self BBQ and every single night it was delicious! (Meat, Vegetarian, Fish) We also enjoyed our daily chat with the super kind and always very helpful staff at the station/cafe. ...while sitting on the veranda having a cool drink. :-) One Point: Perhaps the public sanitary facilities (WC) at Station Cafe could use some maintenance. But please: Before complainig about missing tap water for free, insects, dust and so on bear in mind, where you are!

The site was awful, the staff were unfriendly and did not seem happy. Toilet and shower were ok. No other facilities available or were in bad shape. No tap drinking water available, but we did have our own. We were booked for 2 nights only stayed one and went to the G'day caravan park in Kings Canyon instead and it was heaps better.

Kings Creek Station was wonderful. We stayed there for Breakfast on our way to Kings Canyon. The food was so really good & the kitchen was under pressure but was able to turn our wonderful meals each time. Thank You for the great hospitality.
