We booked a 2 night Dreamtime Escarpment package. We could not have asked for any more. With a secluded and remote “tent”, a fully stocked fridge, all meal requirements and a private pool we were set! This is more than accommodation, this is an experience! Only half an hour from Kings Canyon we were able to do the rim walk first thing in the morning and return to enjoy the luxuries of Kings Creek Station. Thanks to the staff for making it a memorable experience.
This was a great place to stay overnight while exploring Kings Canyon. The check in process was very easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the bush tents that are 2ams from the main check in building away from the main accommodation. You get a key that unlocks your room and a code that opens a gate that you go through down the road. It was secluded and you feel so far away from it all it’s amazing. The stars are so bright! Breakfast is provided at the main buildings and is a buffet style breakfast which was absolutely delicious!! All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We ate burgers for dinner and these were also fantastic. The AC was on when we arrived so this was a great little touch along with cold. Titles of water in the fridge!
When we booked Kings Creek we were very surprised at the high premium but hoped that he experience would match up to it. It was the highlight of the trip for me. We stayed at the Drovers Camp in elevated swags. The night was hosted by two very friendly, knowledgeable and wonderful men who entertained us with stories, games for the kids and great food! We had a fire built for us and a tour of the night sky. The view was incredible with views across the canyon and to top it off the outdoor shower and toilets had the best view ever overlooking the other side of the location. Furthermore , it was easy to chat with Kings Creek prior to booking and they made us feel very welcome. It was an amazing experience for my family and I would highly recommend. Thankyou! Melanie
We were visiting at the same time as other reviewers who were evacuated from the Kings Canyon resort owing to a bushfire. The accommodation, facilities and staff service were wonderful and deserve the acclaim. We will definitely stay here if visiting the area again.
Great little place to stay, we were lucky with a powered site that was shady, pool was an added bonus for the kids, easy drive to kings canyon, would be good if a shade was put over the playground, kids loved it but equipment was hot. We were a little disappointed the buggy tours weren’t on. Would be great in cooler months. The kids loved watching the camels too.
