We stayed over night in spa room. It was all we needed for the evening, but when we went to use the spa bath, it would be nice if you are going to supply a spa room to supply some bubbles to put in bath. As no shop sells this. Also when in bath most people often look up. Roof...

We stayed one night at KCR on our way from Alice Springs to Uluru. The intention had been to walk the rim, but this closes after 10.00 because it gets too hot, so we walked the floor instead. Having said that Kings Canyon is pretty ordinary - it gets the tourists because theres little else in the area apart from...

We stayed in a budget quad room and whilst nothing luxurious there was a table & chairs in the room, air conditioning and a fridge, which all made for a comfortable stay. Shared bathrooms and kitchen were generally clean with sufficient provision. The kids loved the pool and the small play area.

Stayed here for one night to do the Kings Canyon rim walk and were pleasantly surprised. We didn't have high expectations after reading some reviews, and figured that seeing as it's the only hotel in the area it would be pretty basic. However, when we arrived we found the hotel to be lovely, with spacious rooms, with a lovely little...

My partner and I stayed in a room which had a spa situated in front of a picture window looking out onto a rocky, bushy outlook. Really interesting. the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the shower was great. We didn't have time to use the spa unfortunately. We ate at Carmichael's restaurant and found the food to...

Stayed here for one night during a King's tour. Remaining memory is the obnoxious smell from the bathroom. Informed this was due to the water supply, but we believe it was sewerage from the drain. A young guy from housekeeping attended with a large container of unidentified, unlabelled liquid. When he opened the bathroom door he was nearly ill on...

Dear Mick S I am sorry to hear of your issues during your stay here at Kings Canyon Resort. Our artesian bore water does have a very strong sulphuric smell which can be neutralised with one of eco friendly chemicals. In your account of what transpired, it appears there may have been a more unusual problem of a blocked drain,...

We stayed at this resort in a deluxe spa room for one night in April. We had reasonable expectations based on previous reviews, but the room was a disappointment. Pros: Furniture was in OK condition; mattress was comfortable; room was quiet; view of the rocks was nice; small fridge in the room; the pool was refreshing. Cons: Spa bathtub was...

We only had a one night stay at Kings Canyon but loved the experience. We stayed in a deluxe spa room. The room was spacious and the outlook from the spa was spectacular - especially with the full moon overhead. The bed was very comfortable. The only negative was a sewerage smell in the room which did settle a little...

Thank you DarwinWendy for your review of your recent stay at Kings Canyon Resort. I am glad to hear the additional complimentary room provided for your party of 4 which required 3 beds , was well received . The smell in your room would have been from our Artesian water. We would happily have room moved you if we had...

Sites were really big and spacious. Clean area. Really enjoyed our time here. Great camp kitchens, boardwalk and viewing platform to see the range and a little bar is set up there too. Fairly level sites as well

We stayed in a Standard room which was well kept and in good condition. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was good although the sewage grill was a bit smelly. The negatives were the quality of the food at the carmichaels restaurant, slushy risotto, smelly barramundi and very chewy kangaroo skewers. The flavours were also a bit of miss and...

Dear locosfc Glad to read you enjoyed your Standard Room at Kings Canyon Resort. It is disappointing to read your comments about the food at Carmichael's Restaurant - I do hope you were able to advise the restaurant staff of your requirements. I do apologise for any service you may have felt was either abrupt or rude . We certainly...
