What a fabulous place. The location is great (this is the closest stay to Uluru - Kata Tjuta), the food is divine, the tents are more glamour than camping, but it's the staff that pull it all together. We visited to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday, and it was the little things that made this visit exceptional. And of course,...

the location is second to none the view from your room is that of the rock! the room itself is beautifully appointed open plan with everything you need and the beds are comfortable (which is a must) yet all this would mean nothing if it was not for the staff. the service and friendliness of all the staff was outstanding...

If you can do it do it from here. This all inclusive tent villas hotel is the best way to visit and explore Uluru and Kata Tjutra. Three nights are more than enough for visiting the area. But if you decide and take the additional tours and stay longer you can always relax in the very beautiful spa and the...

A friend and I planned a three day trip to Uluru and decided to splurge and try Longitude 131. It lived up to expectations and more. The service was great ,a young enthusiastic staff who were always happy to help. The food was excellent and a food allergy was no problem and did not reduce choices. The wine list also...

Service superb, meals superb, venue superb, 'everything' included. Yes, it's expensive but the service, food and attention to detail in this 'outback Australian' place is just amazing. From first greeting to when you leave you are treated as 'special'. This venue is not one for high heels and dinner suits but it is certainly '5 star' all the way ......

We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and during our stay everything was so special - including our dinner for 2 under the stars!!! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, greeting us by name and taking a great interest in us. The staff are to be congratulated on their professionalism. The food was glorious...

Individual tented rooms with your own view of Uluru Excellent food, attentive staff and a selection of excursions, but be prepared for early mornings - 06.30 starts - for the best of the day. Helicopter trip out to Watarrka was a treat - go for it if you have time and cash!

My partner and I stayed at Longitude 131 in August 2014 and had a fabulous 3 night stay there. Luxurious tents, exceptional location, delicious food and wines, superb walks around the base of Uluru and Kata Tjuta and happy courteous staff make this place the one to choose. Pricey but worth it.

Stayed for a couple of days towards the end of two weeks in Oz. Simply excellent in every way, big and small. The big things? Views, food, tents/rooms, staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere, organization, the range of opportunities to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and the truly inclusive nature of the room rates. The small things? Super friendly people, attention...

We have just returned from 2 nights at Longitude 131. We visited as a family of 4, including 2 children aged 11 and 13 years. We have been wanting to visit Uluru for a long time and when we heard that the Baillie Lodges had taken over we couldn’t wait to come. The resort itself is right in the heart...

Longitude 131° offers immersion in the Australian outback, a true sense of stillness and beauty in this desert landscape, rich in cultural heritage and history. Explore the World Heritage listed wilderness of Uluru-Kata Tjuta and discover some of the ancient creation stories of the Anangu, the land's traditional custodians. Spend time exploring the diverse flora and fauna of the desert and come face to face with this irresistible land with the lodge's personally guided adventures. In the spirit of the original pioneers, stay in canopied pavilions that seem to float over the rust-red dunes. Luxuriously contemporised, today's explorers are cosseted from the elements in surrounds that favour refined comfort over ostentation. Classic furnishings meld with indigenous textures to evoke a sanctuary of earthy elegance. A private glass wall yields unparalleled views of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Exceptional cuisine celebrates a fusion of modern and local flavours. Enjoy an outback sundowner at the convivial open bar in the Dune House and dine under a glittering canopy of stars at Table 131°.
