This hotel is a little older,but is in a great spot right on the waterfront. Our room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed plenty of walks,swimming in the pool,sitting in the bar,watching the world go by. We booked the hop on/off bus which is a great way to get about,in the heat of Darwin. We had a nice buffet breakfast,and some fab meals in the surrounding restaurants. We will return here.

I took advantage of the NT government tourism vouchers and booked 2 nights just before NYE. Great value, a harbour view room with full breakfast, free parking and a $75 food and drink voucher for each night of your stay wired out about $120 per night. The rooms are a good size, big beds, well equipped bathrooms. The parking area joins directly to the hotel that makes it very easy getting in and out. The food vouchers can be used at 8 different restaurants and are great value. Loved it and will stay again if there is another round of vouchers

We recently stayed for 8 nights at this hotel and found the location to be the best possible place in Darwin. We went to just about every major hotel during tour pick ups/drop offs, and we were convinced that the Vibe was the best location. Even though it was located on the waterfront you could walk to the Esplanade or City Centre within 10 minutes.
In addition to Curve Cafe, which is within the hotel, there are many top class restaurants within a short flat walk. We tried Asian, Mexican, seafood. There are also a couple of great bars that had a wide range of tap beers, wines, and good quality food. There is also a mini mart close by for other essentials. Curve Cafe was good for dinner and breakfasts, although the breakfast offerings could be changed around as it became a bit monotonous after 8 days. For example, every day was scrambled or poached eggs, whereas fried eggs occasionally would be good. Overall though it did the job. The dinner we had a Curve Cafe was very good.
We initially were given a first floor room with no view at all, and on request we were quickly upgraded (at our cost) to a third floor room with view over the waterfront. The reception staff I spoke to about this and at other times were extremely helpful. Our room was clean and the daily cleaning was good. The room was showing a few signs of wear but it was clean and the bed very comfy.
The pool was only average and not in a great location and I only used it once. It was a very short walk across the park to a nice, tidal salt water lagoon which was much better. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is really disappointing poorly maintained and not responsive to issues. There was mould on the back of the door in the bathroom the hook for the towel fell off the wall the chair next to the desk was so stained and should have been replaced . The TV lost its signal and most channels, cabling was hanging down underneath it. Glasses were polished clean by the cleaning staff not washed and this towel could have been used in each room. The coffee cup had a crack all the way through it and the cup dripped it’s contents. A tray for lunch from the adjacent room next door with leftover food was placed outside the door and 24 hours later it was still uncollected. The key card was difficult to use and took 3 to 4 swipes to access the room. One of the lifts had the same issue. Definitely not 4 star showing signs of wear and poor maintenance. The curtains in my in laws room were very badly stained with visible finger stains that had not been removed. Their bedside lamp switches were faulty and arced when switching and were still not repaired 4 days later. This was reported the night they arrived and were told it would be fixed immediately. They got out of bed and re dressed and waited 1 1/2 hours for assistance which did not arrive. The TV remote was intermittent and the next morning the hotel put new batteries in it but it was only intermittently functional and unresponsive but not replaced. . They were issued with key cards that did not work at all and being some of the furthest rooms from reception with a faulty hip (90 yrs old) and my mother in law (86) using a wheelchair most of the time when we checked in with luggage on arrival for 4 people we struggled to get to our rooms and no luggage trolley or assistance was offered. If you have mobility issues be aware the shower is over the bath and that requires a 530 mm step over the edge. There was also no hot water in my in-laws suite on the night of arrival. This was fixed the next morning

First of all excellent location, really enjoyed the location. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants, sights, city center and waterfront. And if you don't fancy walking there are always scooters for hire everywhere to extend your reach. The hotel is very outdated, not properly cleaned rooms and common areas, staff seams uninterested. Breakfast is ok, but go before 8am it gets really crowded. Lower floors on the waterfront side will get a bit of noise on weekends from the nightlife on the waterfront (not too bad when we were there) top (4th floor) floors on the southern side gets noise from foot traffic on going to the footbridge to the city( not too bad but notable). This hotel could be one of the best in Darwin if it got updated and propper managed, so much potential in teh location. So many good bars and restaurants very close by. Would I stay here again? Yes! But only at reduced rates. Darwin is so small/compact that choosing a hotel in the city and walking to the waterfront would not be a hazzel.

Well appointed rooms great informative staff , I had a water view room and it was great overlooking the park and lagoon . Parking access was a breeze walked directly from the car park into the Hotel , lots to see and do all within easy walking distance . Plenty of great restaurants again all within walking distance .

Saw prior guest's minibar food waste, reported it to the reception for cleaning & to prevent it being accidentally mischarged. Staff came to see & inspect, told me they have taken note on it to prevent mischarge. Saw credit card statement, charged ~SGD 15 from the hotel on food I didn't consume :/

I stayed at the Vibe for two nights for a little stay-cation. The duty manager was very helpful and accommodating, changing my room to a quieter one that wasn't above the loud pub down below. It is a great hotel, however both rooms I was given needed more attention to detail with the cleaning (the first had coffee grounds all over the kitchenette, the second hadn't had it's bins emptied). Great location though, and generally nice rooms and staff!

We had a Premier Suite which looked out onto Kitchener Drive. The Darwin waterfront precinct is at the front of the hotel, which has restaurants handy for meals and even a mini mart for those incidentals.
The room itself was spacious and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Its a surprisingly large hotel complex but the lifts were quick to come. It has a dining room used for breakfast, but is hardly patronized for lunch or dinner. Not surprising as we went for dinner twice but no staff to be seen! Being at the rear, our room didnt get all the noise from the waterfront side, but we could hear guests moving about above us which was annoying.
The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Smith St Mall, waterfront restaurants and Stokes Hill Wharf.

$30 dollar taxi from airport. Checkin was very stress free and staff very friendly and helpful. Nobody to help with bags but that’s no problem for me. Booking breakfast on arrival is $20 per day, little cheaper than booking online. Our view from our window is the the wall of the parking station. A very small pool on ground level so must be quick to to get a chair. However they do have a large pool and wave pool out front for a small entry fee. No Bar on premises but plenty near by along with plenty of restaurants and small shops.

Hi, We frequently stay at this hotel and the parking is included. Just speak to the Hotel reception about parking when you check in - you will find the reception at the VIBE and Adina are super helpful! Parking and the awesome location is why we always choose either of these hotels (they are side by side and share the reception area.) If you choose to stay at either of these hotels you won't be disappointed!
the wave pool is not part of the vibe hotel. although it is located just in front 2 min walk,

Yes, we used the laundry on a couple of occasions, though, be sure they have detergent for you, or you may have to purchase some from opposite the hotel at the convenience store.
