I recently stayed at the Quality Hotel twice. Once when I arrived in Darwin and again the night before I departed Darwin. There is a free shuttle. I called the hotel after midnight when I arrived and was directed to the pick up point. I arranged for a shuttle (4am) the day that I departed and they got me to the airport in time. The room was clean with the usually ammenities. There is free parking if you have a car.It is next door to a restaurant and bar. It has strong wifi. I did not use the pool or did I have their breakfast. This is a nice place to stay at especially for travelers.

This is an older style motel which is a little dated, tired and showing definite signs of wear (our door lock is in desperate need of replacement). We stayed in 2 different types of rooms at this hotel – Family Room with a kitchenette and Business Queen room. The family room with a kitchenette is the larger of the two and more suitable for a longer stay, because it has a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, crockery and cutlery and the room is slightly larger. The Queen Room does not have a microwave and only enough crockery for coffee/tea making. We also noticed that the WiFi in the Family Room seemed to work better than it did in the Queen Room. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning provided us with relief from the relentless Darwin heat. The staff are super friendly and helpful! We stayed in this hotel near the airport because it was significantly cheaper than staying in town and whilst it’s not an ideal location to base yourself for a visit to Darwin, it’s only a short drive to the CBD, shopping centres and various markets. This is a good option if you are visiting Darwin on a budget and you have your own wheels!

Rooms on the pub side can be noisy at night. Great meals next door at the pub. Cleaned daily, not sure what laundry detergent is used but it felt it itchy on the sheets. Nice little pool. Free airport transfers. Good price for accommodation and close to airport, not too far from everything else. Happy with our rooms.

I arrived the day prior to a 48 hour snap lockdown. My stay was for two nights effectively make mg my check out 10 am on the day the lockdown ends at 1300. I asked reception what was the process given we are under stay at home or place of accommodation orders. Could I have a late check out? First it was a flat NO but then I pointed out I’d be breaking the law by leaving so was told I could extend until 12 noon for $25 ! Bloody unAustralian. In the middle of a lockdown they want to screw you to make money! First and last time

Close to the airport, this is a great place to stay between flights. We arrived in Darwin very late and were picked up quickly in the shuttle bus. The room was clean and comfortable, with basic tea and coffee facilities available. We were able to organise a later check out at midday (for an extra $25) and had lunch at the bistro next door. This was an affordable option if you’re between flights and just need somewhere to shower and sleep.

It was a long tiring day after we came from Sydney. Arrived around midnight. GSO came to pick up us at the airport, I think his name was Sungam was very friendly and provided all the information regarding our stay in Darwin.
The rooms were neat and tidy and he was available anytime for his customer. He did an excellent job when we asked him for the recoms and it was really worth it.
However, it would be best if they put the automatic door system in the front as anyone can get inside the property and we did not feel safe when we saw some Indigenous people were coming inside... asking for the money. This place is good they feel us safe by providing all the facilty for its customers
We highly recom this place for everyone.

A convenient hotel located very close to the airport and right next door to a pub. I was travelling alone so it was handy to be able to call reception when I arrived at the airport and they were quick to come and pick me up on the free shuttle bus. Very friendly staff. The rooms I stayed in (I stayed here twice in one week) were comfortable and clean. I had no complaints at all and would definitely stay here again in transit through Darwin.

This hotel is dated but this is also reflected in their prices. Free airport pick up is good. Rooms are average but a/c work ed very well. Problem is everyone who leaves early rattles their cases along the corridor waking all.

From being picked up from the airport in the hotel shuttle to the very clean and comfortable room we were well cared for. The person who seemed to be covering several jobs whose name we think was Ash was brilliant. He picked us up in the free shuttle, he checked us in and was checking on us when we were in the pool too. The next day a different driver who took us back to the airport said Ash was cooking the breakfasts. The room had everything we needed and was over and above what we expected. It was very handy having the bistro next door where we could get a really nice meal.

After many years absence I refurned the Darwin for the Supercars and catch up with my many friends formed over the years. Given that I was late in planning the trip up I was surprised to still find accommodation available for the Supercars weekend. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Found the rolls to be very clean and serviced daily, all staff I encountered over my five days here were lovely. I would stay again for my next trip up!

There is definitely a shuttle bus, I call when I get to the airport but maybe let them know ahead of time so that they know that there will be a late call out.
There are more places to choose from in the Darwin area.
