Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Sadly if you don’t have a sea view you just look at other apartments but location to Convention Centre and CBD was easy walking distance. Got upgraded so know the 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are immaculate . But what stood out from other places we’ve stayed at in town other than super friendly and helpful staff was the great lap pool and the fact that you can check out and still use facilities like the pool and departure lounge with showers, lounge room and kitchen. Never experienced this to the point that I will always stay here by choice and recommend it 100 percent 😊

We spent 6 nights here in a 2 bedroom apartment. We decided it was better value to choose this than the 1 bedroom apartment with a view. Room to move was better than a view. The apartment was huge, had a full kitchen and laundry and great inclusions. There was undercover parking onsite for a modest daily fee. A well equipped gym which meant I didn't have to pay to go to a commercial one nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly our apartment and complex was clean and the location meant we could easily walk to the Stokes Wharf and into the CBD. Was great that we even had a free NT newspaper every morning. Would happily stay here again.

We (2 couples) stayed there on 2 occasions recently in a 2 bedroom apartment. Both stays were very good with the staff being very helpful in storing luggage. The apartments were very spacious with plenty of room for 2 couples, with 2 good bathrooms and a laundry

We had a 3-bedroom apartment overlooking the water which was terrific, very spacious! Argus is nicely located an easy walk to both the centre of the city and the waterfront. Comfy beds, great views, helpful desk staff and excellent aircon! We made use of the barbecue facilities down by the pool a couple of times which was an added bonus. Thanks to Lorenzo and his helpful team - we will be back at Argus when next in Darwin.

My husband and I and our adult disabled son stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment in April on the 8th floor with city views. The balcony was large but unfortunately the weather was too hot for us to use it. The apartment was huge and the kitchen well appointed. The only thing missing was a safe. This is really a must for travellers. Also, it would be great if on light-clean days staff swept the floor. Ample clean linen, toiletries, tea, coffee and milk. Kaveesh was excellent and very helpful. The couch is getting old and the main toilet floor and wall needed dusting. We had a fabulous time in Darwin and Argus apartments are very good value.

A great experience, lovely accomodation and helpful staff. Walking distance to everything and easy to find with the lovely murals on the building. Argus will be our go to whenever we visit Darwin. They even stored our baggage and allowed us use of the lounge with coffee, tea, use of the pool and showers till mid afternoon when we left for the airport.

Travelling to Darwin as a family of four with two adult children, we arrived at the accommodation approximately half an hour prior to check in and were advised that housekeeping was running a bit behind. We took the opportunity to grab some lunch and upon our return, we were told that we've been upgraded to the penthouse. It was a lovely surprise! The room was extremely spacious with multiple living areas and we all had our own bathroom. The rooms are clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Staff are helpful and friendly. Roomy 2 bedroom deluxe apartment, clean, staff friendly. Easy walk to the waterfront and city for shops and cafes. Large balcony but our view was of other buildings, disappointing actually. Bathroom mouldy, exhaust not working- reported. Car park is a nightmare to navigate, and $9 a day extra, the guests car park are in the lowest level, which is ridiculous when you are taking extra care with a hire car.

We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom booking here. The (airconditioned) apartment was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen, 6 seat dining area, a large comfortable lounge & an undercover verandah complete with table & chairs. Very clean & comfortable. Reception staff were friendly & helpful. Good swimming pool. Well located, close to all amenities. Highly recommended.

3 couples booked the penthouse for 4 nights recently. Our room, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was enormous with high ceilings, a few decks , great bedrooms and bathrooms and large kitchen. On the 9th floor, it was more than we expected. Situated just out of town only a few minutes walk away, close to bars, cafes, restaurants and the wharf area. Staff at checkin were great and very helpful. The only disappointment, and it was huge, was the terrible pool area which was in the shade, not very clean and totally a turn off. In Darwin, you need somewhere to enjoy a swim...unfortunately Argus apartments does not provide this for its guests. We stayed in a couple of other properties in Darwin...Mantra Pandanas and Palm City resort.. and they had pools that allowed shade from the sun and heat, but also opportunity to sit in the sun if you wanted. If you dont want a swim, then I thoroughly recommend Argus apartments.

Really spacious and luxurious and great for couples, groups or big families. We really appreciate your comments about our service as it reinforces that we are looking after our guests exactly the way we intend. Thanks also for your comments on the pool area. We always appreciate constructive feedback whether it is positive or negative, as it helps us to improve our products and services. We can assure that our pool area is getting cleaned three times per day and we apologise that we have not fully met your expectations on this occasion and that the level of cleanliness has not been up to your and our standards. We usually receive a lot of praise for the immaculate condition and high level of cleanliness throughout all our facilities, therefore we are especially disappointed that you had to make a different experience. Being in the tropics, we have part of our pool area undercover as it allows those needing to be sun smart a bit of extra protection. A cool dip in the pool is great for those really hot days that we are prone to in Darwin. We hope to see you all back in sunny Darwin again some time!
