Detailed Reviews
Well I was pretty surprised at the price versus value.
It's an ok hotel, I would call it a motel. Dated and looks like it needs some love and upgrades. I believe the curtains hanging are the originals.
I would definitely not factor in the gym unless old tea bags on the window sill and petrified cane toads on the floor is your jam. Not to mention half the equipment broken and covered in inches of dust.
Bed was comfy, tv worked, shower was sometimes hot.
When I asked the receptionist about a tour " I honestly have no idea was the answer." House keepers yelling down the hall ways was the perfect alarm clock.
Over all did the trick. Would I stay again hard no.

Booked one night as somewhere cheap to stay and freshen up for a 1:15 am flight home and wasn't expecting it to be flash. We were given a room on the 1st floor which was pretty ordinary and I think it's because they knew we weren't staying the whole night so they gave us the worst room. Gee I hope it was the worst room. Door lock was wobbly, the plate around it was missing and I reckon one good punch would have knocked it out. No glasses to drink out of, no tissues, timber paneling on cabinets was dodgy and the little door knobs on the cabinet hiding the fridge were about to fall off so I tightened them up. The room and bathroom were clean. There was a phone with a dial tone but no numbers listed anywhere so I found the hotel on line and called reception using my mobile phone to get a couple of glasses but was told he would come up later because he was busy. My wife went down 10 minutes later and he provided 2 wine glasses but gave her 2 normal glasses when she said they weren't suitable. Pool area was nice and the pool looked clean but we didn't use it. The bar area is really just the local pub and is full of locals and tradies. The hotel is in a pretty poor location and to be frank it's seen better days. The land is probably worth more than the building.

Walked into room 10 and was overwhelmed how noisy the Air conditioners fan motor was (even on lowest fan speed). Went to receptionist straight away and reported, was told she could NOT help!
No Room Move …nothing! Was just plain rude. Will not stay here again!

Dear howitisuno, We really sorry to hear about your experience with the air conditioner and the reception service. It’s disappointing to know that the issue wasn’t resolved and that you felt the staff was unhelpful. We aim to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay, and it’s clear we missed the mark this time. Please know that your feedback is taken seriously, and we’ll be looking into both the air conditioner issue and the customer service you received to ensure improvements are made. If you’d like to discuss this further or if there’s anything we can do to make amends, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future. Kind regards, Frontier Management team

This hotel was located in a convenient location. It was very close to the CBD and near Mindel Beach. Average parking space and good size. The gym was mediocre and in need of a touch up. First night in the room was hot. We could feel heat coming through the wall near the window and air conditioning was not working properly. We thankfully were able to switch rooms at no extra charge. The bathroom was cramped but overall clean. Room was neat and beds were comfortable. There was not much light and there was only one working ceiling light and wasn’t even in the centre of the room. We found a beer bottle and sock under the double bed. Friendly and helpful staff but overall a comfortable stay.

Disgusting - never seen a place so terrible… and run down… ants in the room… lights not working, bumpy bed. I would not recommend. Understand it is difficult to find accomodation in Darwin but I’d suggest to book in advance to avoid ending up in places like this!

A punters, sports bar, pub restaurant style outdoor / indoor seating area downstairs (ground level) which features a cool band on Friday nights. They do cover songs with over 200 in their repertoire. Frontier offers pub meals & pizza menu.

Room was good, bed was comfortable. Toilet was tucked behind bathroom door which could have been a bit challenging if someone pushes the door open.
Asked at reception about a light meal in the evening. My wife and I followed the instructions to the bar/restaurant on site. Was a little surprised that this was a nudie bar and not the place to enjoy a light meal.

Good location, adequate facilities that served their purpose. An older hotel and therefore a bit tired, but was clean and comfortable, a great choice if on a budget. A great location too if not wanting to be right in the city… easy to get everywhere.

Long walk to town but close to the botanic gardens. Rooms could use an update but sit outside at the pool. Loud live. Suicidal on weekends. Laundry room and well center. Overall a bit overpriced for the location.

For the price you pay Vs. What you get is brilliant. I only stayed for two night so didn’t require house keeping. But the pool is really nice and shaded, the gym for a hotel is pretty good/ slightly basic. Rooms were large and staff very pleasant and friendly. I would stay again.
