The apartments are clean and comfortable. Pool is great. Only drawback is guys get in and drink. The locals cut through all the time. Some nights there are arguments due to drinking. The gardens are lovely.

I stayed a Alatai for a week and was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. The decor is very dated, the dryer worked but complained a lot, but overall found the place clean and comfortable. The biggest negative is security of vehicles and parking....the theft of my interstate number plates in the car park cost me far more than the...

Dear Chris, Please allow me this opportunity to apologise for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. You willingness to share your thoughts is appreciated. Alatai does have an underground locked carp park for guests to use during their stay. Best wishes, Alatai Reservations

Absolutely unequalled value for money in Darwin. A two bedroom apartment with kitchen, washer and drier for $100/night! It is low tourist season, but this was miles cheaper than anything else similar in Darwin. Room is comfortable and clean. Convenient location as well. Lots of families staying and a pub nearby so had been a little noisy at times at...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were lovely and helpful but the hotel needs an upgrade. Basic but comfortable rooms. Shower was only a trickle. Air-conditioning was good though and the kids loved the pool.

I stayed at the Alatai for 4 nights and I must say that the service is fantastic. The staff at the apartments were attentive even the night security man, who we met before we went out at 6am for a trip to Kakadu as he ask if we were okay, how nice is that. The rooms are very big, and...

Stayed here for 2 nights and was very comfortable. The pool area was nice but needed a rail to help older people into the pool. Loads of air con and the washer and dryer were very handy. Close to the city and sights. Slight noise from people walking around upstairs. No lifts so if you are old or infirm make...

We stayed in a disabled apartment on the ground floor. No lifts are available. I contacted Alatai to book the room and they were very helpful. The apartments are old with cooking facilities and washing machine/dryer. Continental breakfast is included. There is a restaurant upstairs at Alatai but we were unable to go there as no disabled access. The footpaths...

We found the reception staff to be friendly and helpful. The after hours check in system was great. We split our stay with an overnight Kakadu tour in the middle and were not charged to leave our bulky luggage with reception for the two days we were gone. Reception staff offered advice for things to do and were very helpful...

The rooms had everything you needed, and the units included laundry facilities. The living space was spacious enough, and the television was a decent size and good quality. Although it was in a busy area, there was no noise problem. The kids loved the pool which was clean and the area was nice to sit in and relax. It was...
