Detailed Reviews
This was the best place we stayed at on our recent trip to Darwin. The pool area was great (although more pool furniture would be good and there was a battle for the lounges everyday between guests). The one bedroom apartment we got was modern, clean and had a dehumidifier in it which was very handy during the wet season with high humidity. The kitchenette was relatively well equipped and tea/coffee was provided. The location is also really good, only a few minutes walk to Woolies and 5 mins from the Mitchell centre. It's about a 10 minute walk to the waterfront precinct. Only downside was no breakfast offering and parking was $15 per day which we found a bit steep.

The hotel is within walking distance of most of the CBD attractions. We stayed here over Christmas and New Year. We scored a 1 bedroom apartment on the 18th floor with outstanding views. As it was the wet season all the balcony furniture had been removed but we requested it and after signing a waiver (agreeing to bring the furniture indoors if we were going out) it was quickly delivered to our unit. Car parking is an extra $15 a day but well worth the convenience and the added security. We had the rate lowered to $10 a day because we were staying 2 weeks. The unit had a washer and dryer which was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The on-site restaurant was running on limited hours due to the holiday season but had a perfectly adequate breakfast and lunch menu. Pool towels were also available on request.

+1
My wife and I loved our stay at the Mantra Pandanas Darwin, we selected this hotel to stay an extra 2 nights after our tour of the NT.
We chose a 1 bedroom apartment city view, only problem it was an interconnecting apartment which we hate as there is no sound barrier between the rooms.
I went straight down to reception and the lovely girl changed our room without any hesitation which we really appreciated.
The apartments are luxury with a small kitchenette, lounge and seperate bedroom with its own TV, as well was a washing machine and dryer so we could wash our clothes before we went back to Melbourne.
The hotel is near everything Darwin has to offer which is so convienient
We loved the long happy hour and the food in the restaurant was great.
I would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending the Panadanas to those looking for a fantastic hotel.

Location, location, location. The location is perfect. 5 minutes walk to Woolies, downstairs is Dukes cafe which have the BEST coffee and all the pubs/shops are close by. Stonehouse (my fav wine bar) is a 2 minute walk and Moorish Cafe, my favourite tapas/cocktail bar is also a 2 min walk. Darwin Waterfron is about a 15 minute walk, otherwise scooters are available (5 minute journey) for rent out the front if you get the app ($25 for three days - up to 90 minutes a day). I paid extra to get a room with a small kitchenette and it was perfect for my requirements, meaning I could cook brekky and have snacks prepared during the day. The room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Beautiful to watch the sunset from the balacony and at night it was very quiet. Would defiantly go back if I'm ever in Darwin again.

This was the fourth Hotel we stayed in on our Northern Territory adventure .
Big congratulations to the Management and staff of this hotel.
A lot of the hotels we stayed in said they were adhering to Covid safe cleaning practices with enhanced cleans. This was the best one. Super clean and sterilised . Even the box that the tea supplies came in had been sterilised and wrapped in plastic. The apartment was immaculately clean and well maintained.
The front desk team was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room itself was a one bedroom apartment Harbour View. The apartment was compact with a small kitchenette. We didn’t use it for food preparation but you could easily do this should you be so inclined. The bed was huge - a super king made up with beautiful fresh linens and extremely comfortable. I did not want to get out but I had to as the delights of Darwin awaited. We had a nice balcony well placed to watch the sunset.
The hotel was well located to the Darwin CBD and about 1 k to the waterfront area. The pool area was nice although a little shaded from the surrounding buildings so a little cool. We were out most of our stay so it didn’t really matter to us.
If you’re staying in Darwin and need a self catering option I highly recommend the Mantra Pandanus.
As an Accor plus platinum member I received a lovely welcome gift and was able to enjoy breakfast on the second day of my stay in the on-site cafe, Table Forty Three. We also had a drink in Table Forty Three on the first night and I want to give a big shout out to the staff in there they were friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Fortunately we booked about 4 months in advance and received a better rate with free cancellation and no payment until a few days before arrival.
Our room was 1 bedroom apartment with city and sea views from the 18th floor. The room was spacious for two with kitchen, balcony, lounge, king bedroom and laundry within the bathroom.
The location was very central within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, tourist attractions including the waterfront.
The car park was the only major negative with a hit and miss approach for the room card to operate the entry and exit boom.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for short to long stay.

From check in to check out this was a very comfortable and pleasant stay.
The location was within easy reach of the shopping strip, supermarket, good restaurants and cafes as well as the bus interchange and the waterfront area.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable, quiet, we never heard other guest moving around, despite it being fully booked.
All staff we met where polite, friendly and helpful.
The accommodation was as described and all the appliances and furniture was of reasonable quality and worked well. The apartment was of good proportions and the balcony views to watch the sunrise and set was a bonus. We will be back

Whilst the Mantra costs slightly more than other nearby hotels, it was bloody nice to have a comfortable bed, no mould or musky smell, and a nice little balcony with a great view over the city. Easy parking, friendly staff, this place ticks all the boxes. Will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Darwin

Over priced, value for money, Ask for a cleaner room, double check if the pool is in service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Good location, staff very terrible. Worsted motel in Australian-Asia

Hi. Sorry I can’t answer this one as we have never needed extra space. Not sure, but check if lounge pulls out. BT
No. There are two cafes on the ground floor that offer simple breakfasts. One has charge back to your account.
No glass in the pool area - standard rules for all pool areas these days.
Cocktails in the bar adjoining the restaurant area
We had a true King bed
There are two c ô panties that do reasonably priced shuttle services in Darwin. They will pick you up at a designated time outside your hotel/accommodation. The services appear to cater to all flights and time slots. We caught a plane to Sydney early in the morning and the shuttle was available to take us to the airport for that flight.
