The house keeping when done is awesome, however in 23 days of staying here there has been issues with House Keeping in either not doing the service or taking personal property to not leaving towels or emptying the waste bin. One of the reception staff (Ty) has not booked in rooms when he told me he had, then when reminded said because he had forgotten to book, he would book it straight away. I said I'm happy to pay for the upgrade of a room, so I had a microwave to use. He said he would waive the upgrade cost be of the room. The day I was to move out of one room into this room I was informed that the Room was not booked and i would have to wait another 2 days for it to be available. I told the beautiful reception staff that he had told me he would waive the upgrade cost because he had made the mistake on the first time. they said that was understandable and I was charged the standed room price. I could only have the room for 3 days than had to be moved back to another room which I understood. On leaving that room and moving into a standard room I was told I would have to pay for the upgrade as Ty had said he had never said that. The awesome receptionist said she would talk to her manager before she would charge it to me. When you do not receive the service, you have paid for the rate should show the discount of service costs on the invoices, which at no time was a discount offered for poor house keeping services.…
Nice, very modern hotel just on the edge of the Brisbane CBD. Room slightly small but well appointed and very comfortable. Restaurant not open when I stayed but good room service meals available. Very helpful staff.
No issues with early check-in, nice clean room which was quiet too despite being opposite the lifts. Room was nice and dark too with the blockout curtains once covered the small gap. Breakfast was great too.
Location was easy to find, with check in also quick and easy. The room was a okay size but the bed was comfy bed. Room as also very quiet, with no road or hotel noise at night. Bathroom was a good size with a good sized rainhead shower.
Room Very Small, but lovely and quiet, Bed was very comfortable. Location was excellent for our restaurant booking, walking distance and being Riverfire Hotel was mostly booked out. Service was excellent , Staff friendly , Would Stay again Thanks
Very friendly staff and nice room. Quiet for the area. Very handy to restaurants and freeway connections in all directions just a few turns away. I would prefer to have a restaurant on site for a bite to eat and a drink but no great drama. Cafe downstairs open for breakfast. I've had two stays and will stay again.
The rooms are good the beds are comfortable and the facilities are great the only missing link is a physical desk to work from within the room there was no facility to physically sit down and work on emails comfortably in the room. I had requested a room with a desk on this stay as I have stayed at the property multiple times before however this was not picked up on my booking and didn't eventuate. I was told there are only a small number of rooms with a desk in them.
Room is not massive but is adequate. Neat, tidy and quiet. Staff are excellent Good location within walking distance of food and entertainment. I have stayed at the Kennigo 3 times (twice for work and once for leisure) now since it became a part of the Rydges network and would defintely stay there again.
We booked a standard Queen room about a month ago and were offered an upgrade to a Queen Vista Room for an extra $30 a couple of days before we were due to arrive. We opted to pay for the upgrade and were very disappointed once we arrived. The upgrade offer was for: A room with either city views or courtyard views - The actual view in our room through the two small, narrow windows was 2/3 taken up with the side wall of the next building with just a small view of the city in the upmost section of the window. A coffee machine - Only 2 coffee pods supplied with the machine, no way to heat the milk and the machine didn't work when we tried to make the coffees in the morning. A slightly bigger room - mmm... maybe, but the standard room must be very small if that room was bigger. I will say that the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower had good hot water flow. Probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again because we just felt a little ripped off / conned for paying an extra $30 for a room that was nice but didn't really have anything special.…
Paid extra for breakfast and two days we stayed there, it had a very limited menu and definitely not worth the $25 allocation that we had on the first day. Staff couldnt be more accommodating. They were really nice. Housekeeping could’ve refilled the toilet paper and the tea/coffee.
