Great location, walking distance to centre of town. Friendly staff, went out of their way. Reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again. Helped me to book an airport shuttle, everything was nice and easy.

We arrived late after the office had closed for the night. No worries! Wendy had placed a very useful note about our room with very welcome directions and a key where we could find it. The room was nice and we slept well for our one night visit. With our large bags, their recommended Con-X-ion shuttle service from and to...

I spent six nights at the Kookaburra. My room was a very nice single with fan and sink and a refrigerator. It was easy to walk into the city from there though it is in a hilly neighborhood. It was a quiet place and very good value. Owners were helpful when I wanted to book a tour. This is a...

Enjoyed my short stay at Kookaburra Inn. Fab location, lovely people running it and very good value. Really good budget accommodation. Clean, nice and quiet. Recommended. Very handy for CBD, the Valley, New Farm, and good to get to or from the airport.

Staff is kind, clean room, quiet place, But it located high place. So you have heavy luggage? Use taxi. Public toilet and sower booth but not crowded. near market, and kitchen stuff is clean. If you use kitchen stuff, you will wash you used.

When I'm traveling abroad you'll find me at hotels & motels & also the occasional apartment :), but all of these were way over priced for the 4 nights that i wanted to stay in Brizzy for. Kookaburra Inn has private bedrooms and then with everything else is shared. Never had the chance to stay at a hostel before but...

This lovely little hotel is a great balance of everything - tucked away in a quiet area, yet close to the city and busier areas. As a single traveller, I had my own privacy and space in my adequately sized room which had its own fridge (VERY helpful), desk and sink, yet the communal TV room, kitchen and outdoor areas...

On first arriving at Kookaburra, you can be forgiven for thinking you are in the wrong place. It is not commercial at all. It looks like an ordinary house, but the hostel is downstairs, the rooms are very clean as is everywhere. It's a very quiet area and close to the city and the Valley. A very good price for...

This motel was in a quiet area but only 10 minute walk from Central or Fortitude Valley train stations. Bus stops were even closer. Facilities and room were clean and tidy. Shared kitchen, lounge, toilet and shower. We enjoyed our stay and would use it again
