Mary and Geoff were gracious hosts and went beyond staying at their lovely cottage. Geoff drove us to the ferry and told us what bus would available to return. Also advised us that a cab might not cost any more than the bus transportation. They told us about good eateries in the area. It was a convenient location to other... More

We were fortunate to finish our Queensland holiday at this lovely B&B. Geoff and Mary were the most welcoming and helpful hosts. Geoff even drove us to the ferry pick up when we wanted a day in the city. The bedroom was so comfortable and a welcome retreat after a day of sightseeing. The location was perfect with the fantastic restaurants of... All the good reviws are correct. Don't think twice, clean and well presented, great value, close to shops and restaurants and bus stops etc. In a very pleasant neighbourhood. My son and I stayed in the downstairs rooms which were very private with a small kitchen. The upstairs room share a large fully equiped kitchen and dinning area.

This is better than home away from home. The hosts Mary and Geoff are welcoming, friendly and go beyond all expectations to accommodate your every wish, want or need. The rooms are tastely furnished, giving a feel of yester year with all the mod cons, and little extras, providing maximin comfort. There are facilities to cook your own food, including... More

We stopped here for only 2 nights at the start of August and stopped in the Orange room as there were 3 of us. A great set up with 2 bedrooms but one front door so like having your own apartment. The standard of decoration and cleanliness were excellent in the rooms and the breakfast room. We had our own... More

Stayed here two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the character and charm of the place. Mary & Geoff were helpful hosts, and their pup was a pleasure as well. My flight arrived from the U.S. in the morning, but they were available to show me into my room (which actually had a bedroom with doors leading to the patio, and adjoining... More

We had the red room with balcony with table and chairs, fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. Guests also had the use of kitchen and contents. We loved the neighbourhood close to Rosalie Village and bus stop. The Lebanese restaurant Rouj,... More

We recently stayed for two nights at Fern Cottage and enjoyed every moment. Mary and Geoff made us feel very welcome, it was as if we were friends. Our room was lovely with a balcony and the accessible kitchen was well stocked. Great area to walk around, beautiful queenslander homes and interesting shops. Look forward to staying here again.
