I have stayed at Cream Gables each time I needed accommodation when visiting Brisbane over the past years and it has never disappointed. The hostess is very attentive and caring, the room most comfortable and well appointed. For eating, there are many options, a good selection of diverse choices within close proximity, a very well stocked IGA supermarket next door,...

A perfect spot for a stay in Brisbane! It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants and transport! A beautifully restored Queenslander with everything you need for a short or long term stay. Very comfortable rooms with a fabulous garden and cooking facilities if you so desire.. Anne, owner/ hostess was very accommodating, assisting us with local knowledge of the...

We had a most enjoyable stay at Cream Gables. Anne made us feel at home and offered valuable insights to the city and very helpful suggestions during our stay. We had the use of the kitchen which was well equipped for preparing meals. The outdoor area provided ample space for relaxing and dining. The house is well maintained and very...

Anne of Cream Gables is a wonderful host. She gave us all the right advice and ideas for attractions, transport and restaurants. The accommodation was excellent and in a very good location for easy access to the river and city centre. Brilliant breakfast. Highly recommended.

This is exactly why not to stay in a hotel. Beautiful restored Queenslander with polished wood floors, lovely immaculate comfortable rooms, garden space to sir outside, facilities for cooking, tea and coffee, great breakfast of cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast eaten on a covered verandah. Anne is a real character, full of life, and was really helpful planning our visit....

I stayed with Anne for 13 months while working in Brisbane and am grateful that I stumbled on Creme Gables. Initially I planned to stay for a month then look for a serviced apartment but decided to stay for the duration of my contract. A great decision! Creme Gables is a piece of paradise in the city. It's a hop,...

My wife and I stayed overnight prior to a cruise. The accommodation was comfortable in an ensuite room. Tea, coffee and cooking facilities were available. The grounds are semi tropical with a taste of Bali. Breakfast on the covered deck was excellent in both quality and quantity. The owner, Anne, could not have been more helpful and friendly. I recommend...

On Holiday with Brother, Mum and my youngest son we stayed here for 2 nights as our self catering accommodation wasn't available until then and we also felt jet lag wised it would be the best option.. I have never stayed in a B and B that is SO accommodating we could ask for breakfast when we wanted it (within...

The B&B is in a great location, close to restaurants. The house is well appointed, comfy Queen bed and very clean. Margaret took care of all our needs and served a lovely breakfast. We thoroughly recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for an alternative to staying in an unappealing hotel. One point though, the parking would be a bit of...

There are numerous excellent reviews here which well reflect this excellent accommodation. Ann could not be more helpful in ensuring her guests have a good and well informed stay in Brisbane. Nothing was too much trouble and we can say without any hesitation that all guests will be very well looked after. Thank you so much Ann.
