Stayed here for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, room was clean & modern with wi-fi, microwave & small kitchen sink. It was also within walking distance of Buranda Village shopping centre. It suited all my needs and I would be happy staying here again.

Stayed here overnight as part of a work-related visit to Brisbane. Very conveniently located to PA Hospital where i was working. Just a short stroll to the busway as well and a $10 taxi ride to Southbank. The service was fabulous. I checked in early morning and was able to leave my car parked there the day of checkout until...

My wife and I stayed at Chino for four nights in early June. The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and well-appointed. Parking was included and was in a secure carpark under the building with easy access. We dined at their restaurant one evening and found the food delicious. There is a shopping centre only a few minutes walk away, a...

Hi Warren, Thank you so much for describing the surrounds - we have such great public transport options, huge medical facilities, shopping, dining and major arterial roads all nearby making us a great location. It means so much more to travellers when this info comes in a guest review, so we really appreciate your attention to all the resources in...

The hotel is in a quiet location but close to rail and expressways. You really need a car to stay here, as any restaurants, bars (other than that in the hotel) etc. are at least a 5 minutes drive away. I had a room with kitchenette facilities and a balcony on the 4th floor (which is the top floor). My...

Hi Murray, Thanks for taking the time to review Hotel Chino. Our FREE secure undercover parking is a huge advantage of Hotel Chino over other properties in Woolloongabba. However reception is happy to advise guests on nearby shopping and restaurants and the bus & train stations make getting around without a car very easy as well. All Hotel Chino guests...

Have stayed here several times on business trips. On this visit a dinner in house was organised by the company, on the news that the kitchen had a new Chef at the helm, Alex. It was good advice as we were very well looked after, and the food was exquisite. Very fresh , tasty and imaginative. The wine list a...

As a first time visitor, I was very impressed with the quality and location of these apartments. The apartment was spacious, modern and very comfortable. It's also a very short walk to shops and public transport as well as being very close to the city centre. The free secure parking is fantastic and the higher underground clearance suitable for larger...

Dear FIVESTARSRATER, Oh dear there has been a huge mis-understanding here. We would NEVER charge an in-house guest more than an on-line guest where there is often a commission component. It makes no sense at all. Somehow you have mis-understood the receptionist. Our reception team cannot work out who you may be so we can explain the exact scenario in...

What a great place in town. If you are looking for a clean and tidy place in the center of town, I would take again fhe Hotel Chino. Friendly Manager and owner making sure everything is to your liking. Some rooms are abit small but just big enough to feel comfortable.

Love top marks for our property - thank you so much. Our ground floor rooms are small but we have named them "compact" so travelers who book them for an inexpensive overnight stay realise they are on the small side but they are fully functional and great value. We hope you return to Hotel Chino. Maria A - Manager

Hi Ravyboy, Thanks for all your positives about Hotel Chino – large rooms, parking, transport etc. It’s a shame you see our reception hours as a negative. Being an independent hotel we have to prioritise costs and guest feedback advises that FREE wifi, FREE secure undercover parking and a GREAT RATE is more valued than a receptionist at front desk...
