Nice, spacies and clean. Located within walking distance from public transport and eateries. Modern and self-contained unit. Recommended for couples with kids. Did not visit gym or pool so no review for that part. Parking is $25 which is a little disappointing for a $300 a night room but that's Brisbane for you. Highly recommended

It was our second time staying at this hotel. We had a great view this time. We love the location and parking is easy. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. A short walk to Qpac, the train and bus stations and South Bank for restaurants etc.

4 nights with no light in the bedroom. Broken switch. See pictures . They service the room once a week. We have asked more frequent service at 90$ each, but never happened. We have to use wet used towels again and again as they don't provide you any. Really it was bad experience

Pros- good location. A pleasant walk to Qpac, Southbank, train station and restaurants. Apartment was tidy and clean. A broken blind in the 2nd bedroom but otherwise good. Secure parking at a cost. Cons- view. City view was booked however it would have been much nicer to be facing the front of the building facing Southbank. Our room faced the back in to two neighbouring high rises so no privacy and no sunlight at all, meaning we weren’t keen to spend a lot of time in the apartment. Balcony was cold and dark. The front facing units would have had lovely sunshine and views so maybe request this if possible. Also for a 4 person apartment, the lounge area was very small. A two seat lounge meant we weren’t able to watch anything as a family. No tv in either bedroom which was unusual. Otherwise a pleasant stay and I’m sure we would have enjoyed it more if we had been on the opposite side of the building.

we arrived early 10am and understandable the room was not available and was told that 2pm was guarantee check in which was ok they did say they will contact us when ready. we headed off to get breakfast after early start from cairns and went into Brisbane town headed back to reception at 1;58pm only to be told the room was not ready and was informed that 2pm was check in time, after some discussions with back of house staff they said that a room was available and we checked in. the apartment was big a 2 bedrooom 2 bathroom but with a few issues which we reported a cracked window, marks on walls and floor and blind that was damaged. the patio was huge but strange to only have a small round table and two chairs, strange for a apartment that could accommodate up to 4 people and the drain was blocked which we reported but was not attended to we did ask for a 11am check out but got the answer we will see how we go, so unclear of a yes or no. staff were not very unprofessional.

We stayed at Arise Atlas apartments when it first opened a few years ago, and we were delighted with our stay. We returned there in April 2022 for two nights, and we were very disappointed in our experience. - Floors weren't cleaned - numerous toe nail clippings on floor - very dusty underneath furniture and beds, - Dishwasher had food in the bottom of it and the filter was filthy. - No lamps were working in the apartment. - Bathrooms not cleaned well Upon requesting for someone to change light bulbs, a cleaner smashed one on the floor and then left it there for an hour before coming back to vacuum. We had two very small kids so called the number various times to ask someone to come and help. Finally someone vacuumed, however did a poor job. An hour later, our son cut his foot open on the glass. I went downstairs immediately and demanded that someone vacuum our apartment asap. No one attended out room the entire night, nor said anything to us upon checkout. We used a dust pan and brush to clean what we could. Very under-maintained, not hygienic and VERY poorly managed. Sorry guys - you can't use covid as an excuse anymore - it's called effective resource planning during a crisis! If you can't clean rooms, don't allow people to stay in them.

It was Thursday 16 September 2021. After hours of driving to Brisbane to see a show starting at 7.30pm, unfortunately we arrived late, just as the front desk was to close at 5pm, however the receptionist (who was pleasant and helpful) was able to give us the key to Apartment No. 11204 in Building 1, Level 12 of the Arise Atlas complex just before she closed the desk. Once the car was parked, we went up to the apartment to change clothing BUT were shocked to find the room had not been cleaned - unmade bed from the previous people, rubbish in the kitchen bin, soiled linen in the bathroom, etc. This situation is absolutely unacceptable! Endnote: The after-hours caretaker was eventually able to find us another apartment in the Ivy & Eve building a few blocks away.

The room was fine but the concierge girl was rude. Typical entitled & selfish millennial. I was woken so many times by doors slamming from other rooms. It seems that occupants of neighbouring rooms just let the door slam shut. Shouldn't there be a air compressed closer on them so they close gently. Never again.

We stayed here just for 1 night in a one bedroom apartment and it was very pleasant. We went to see a show at Qpac and the location of this place is very good and close to restaurants as well. The apartment was clean and lots of space. The only thing we was very disappointed about was that in the room description it stated that there was a coffeemaker, but there was not!! Could have brought our own but assumed they provided one.

We went through all of the necessary steps to do a late check-in and were told that we would be sent instructions via text on how to check-in after hours. The text never came, no emails, nothing. When we got to the apartments, we were unable to check in and had to call a few numbers before we were finally connected to an after-hours emergency contact. He was helpful in getting us in, but we were all a little tired at that point and felt that the whole situation was unnecessary. Overall it was lackluster after the initial check-in, and I wouldn’t come again based mostly on the service. We even left early to stay somewhere else more amicable. They did notice that we had left early, which was surprising because no one was around when we tried to check out. We left the key in a drop box and were called the next day and asked if we’d left early. I replied that we had and they thanked me and that was it. It’s fine if you just want a place to stay and nothing else. If you have an issue though, don’t expect much support and don’t attempt a late check-in!

Response from Atlas Brisbane, General Manager at Atlas Apartments
Responded 14 Jan 2021
Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review. Whilst we try our best to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay, unfortunately on this occasion, we were unable to meet your expectations. Your feedback has been taken very seriously and we will endeavour to improve ourselves and our operation. Unfortunately our hotel is not a 24-7 hotel so the early departure will have to drop the keys in the key return box. We hope you will have a very good weekend and stay safe.
