I highly recommend the YHA in Brisbane! Welcoming staff, clean kitchen and room, amazing rooftop! It's close to everything and has an easy access to the grocery store! Niiiiice people too! The little cafe downstairs is a plus but is quite expensive.

We received absolutely fantastic customer service from the manager Mitch. A tour operator on fraser island cancelled on us due to them overbooking over easter (part of a YHA tour bundle but no fault of YHA). Mitch spent around an hour on the phone to various tour operators to rearrange all our trips so we could fit it all in...

This is probably the best place to stay in Brisbane, they have literally everything! The rooftop view is spectacular, including a swimming pool and kitchen. The rooms are clean and air conditioned, the coffee shop next to reception offers basic breakfast and at evening time it is a cosy spot to chill out. The CBD is just a short walk...

We had booked to stay in a family room for a couple of nights but needed to keep extending as we were unable to get back to Proserpine / Airlie beach. Staff very helpful. Room excellent, own bathroom very clean. Good kitchen. Fairly central location, we walked to all parts of Brisbane from here. Arranged bus back to airport for...

This hostel was very nice and clean and the staff was really helpful. They had a small cafe that was convenient for breakfasts or snacks. It was also in a very good location and offers a wonderful view of Brisbane. It was close to the transit stations and the city center.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The facility is well equipped and clean, close to attractions and transit, and has very friendly and helpful staff. We had a small issue with our booked room and the staff acted immediately to put us in a new room with a free upgrade.

The hostel is close to the transit centre (8 minutes walking) and not too far from the city centre (15 minutes walking). Supermarket and a couple of small restaurants in 3 minutes distance. The people staying there are very divers (from school kids to elderly travelers). The communal kitchen in the 5th floor is very well equipped and spacious. There...

Wow! I felt like a genuine filthy rich fat cat at this joint. Why? Holy cow: a SWIMMING POOL on the roof, no less! I pretended I was rich, handsome Brad Pit or maybe even Donald Trump. The dorm was nice with just one bunk bed and a single bed (which I GRABBED as fast as I could). No breaky...

Good location and comfy. Great facilities - large kitchen, balcony with pool etc. Really annoyed though with the charges for bag storage (although were very secure lockers) and this day in age no wifi in rooms / common areas above first floor.

Checked in at 10:30pm, reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Went straight to my room, found that the signage was very poor. Once I found my room, I went in to find the only spare bed didn't have a pillow (as I'm guessing someone else took it so they had 2 pillows). My 'locker' didn't even have a door...
