This is an awesome hostel! We stayed here for 5 nights in a private room and felt like we were staying in a hotel. Our room was spacious, very clean and had air con which was well needed. It's a large hostel but there are so many communal areas throughout the place. The roof top pool area is lovely and...

I was supposed to stay here for 2 nights and ended up extending my stay to 4. I found the staff friendly and the rooms clean. The kitchen was spacious and very clean. It's also nice to have a dining area outside and the pool is an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

I can't even begin to tell you how good this place is. I have never stayed in a hostel before. I thought they were, like, backpacker joints. Filled with Ingeborg's and Sven's all getting blind drunk and having wild sex parties in big dorms. You know, fun for people in their twenties, or sad men in their thirties and forties...

Hostel is about 10min from Greyhound bus station and 15min from city center. All facilities are clean, rooms are small but ok. Kitchen is on top floor and they even have a pool. Supermarket across the street where you also find some restaurants and shops. You have a really nice view from the terrace. Staff was helpful. A little bit to...

A great hostel with a friendly environment. Thanks to Paul at reception for the great travel advice - was very helpful and knowledgeable about Brisbane and Australia as a whole :) The kitchen is also a great asset to this hostel!

Brisbane Yha was my first hostel in Australia. It was clean and tidy and very modern facilities. It was a great location. I was travelling on my own and it was not the most sociable hostel, but the staff were friendly.

Arrived at the YHA, smooth easy check-in, reception is very friendly and helpful with directions and attractions. The room itself, although small is very cosy. We rented a 4 bedroom with private bathroom. The laundry room was easy to use as was the kitchen facilities. The bar was probably the chillest bar I have ever been to. Great atmosphere and...

Stayed for one night in the 4-bed female dorm last May. I arrived late at night, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was simple and clean, and so was the bathroom. Would highly recommend for a short stay/transit.

A little bit of a walk from the station but had a great stay here. Clean and modern well equipped rooms, great top floor with pool, cinema room and huge kitchen with loads of storage space. Only let down was the awful noise from the trains every 5 minutes which even ear plugs don't block out (maybe get double glazing)...

Thank Rosie C
