This hostel appears on the internet as one of the best ones in Brisbane, but it's overrated in my opinion. You can tell that they tried to put as many rooms and showers as they could making everything very small. Gives a feeling of being cramped Bathrooms where not very clean at all. Location is good, walking distance to South...

No wifi, or better there is wifi but doesn't work, and the connection is super weak that it's impossible to check anything. Hostel is clean only for 10 minutes after the staff clean, after that is toilet paper all over the floor. A lot of drunk people around being annoyed. Some of the cheap rooms are in the garage, where...

I stayed here for a couple nights when I first arrived in Australia. Firstly it was very easy to find once I got out of the tube station which is always a good start. I got greated by a very helpful receptionist who explained where my room was and let me settle in before explaining me the city to make...

We were greeted by a very nice and helpful man when we checked in. He went above and beyond to make sure we knew how to get around the city and things to do and see. Room was clean and spacious, with AC which was wonderful. We were in a girls corridor and it had a large mirror and hair...

Coming into a extremely hot country from a long flight all we wanted was a comfy room with air conditioning great service but didn't get either. 40 degree heat with no air conditioning was painful and being cramped in a shoe box of a room. We booked in for 3 nights and could only make, 1 stay if we could...

On arrival we got upgraded to a 4 man dorm when there was 3 of us so was handy. Big clean room nice a/c. Shared showers could have done with a bit of a scrub but still ok. What can you expect from a shared facility. No BYO alcohol but cheap enough in the bar on site.

Stayed here for three nights. On arrival got upgraded to private room so a great start. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Place was clean and the bar was good fun. Very centrally located and a c in the rooms. The view from the lookout point was amazing. Would stay again

The was my first night stay in Australia and boy, what a shocker! The rooms are dirty, the staff were rude and really unhelpful, the shower facilities are old, reasonable friendly atmosphere with the guests but compared to the other hostels I stayed at, their is no comparison. I would suggest you try some of the hostels closer into town...

First the good news: nice rooftop with picknicktables and a little swimmingpool, great view of Brisbane. Easy walk to Southbank. Not very happy with the smelly dorm we stayed in. 30 beds in 1 dorm, in the basement with bad ventilation. Showers and toilet were old and a few were dirty. Some doorlocks were broken. This dorm was cheaper than...

The hostel itself is ok. Room was spacious for 14 with two toilets and two showers. The bathrooms definitely were not cleaned twice a day as stated on the welcome leaflet shower had a mouldy curtain and the floor in the corner was grim. Its cheap here so can't expect to much. There's annoying fire exit sign in the room...
