Very welcoming staff on reception upon arrival. Room very clean and comfortable. Carpark next door is handy and has high clearance. Room service menu was excellent and the food one of the best I've had. Worth the stay.

Room comfy, bed was really soft and the pillows just right. A great view over the Show grounds, very friendly staff and great food. Perfect location to pop in and out from the Royal Brisbane Show, and the best advantage point ever for the nightly fire works.

Great place to stay if heading to the Ekka. Staff very accommodating, food lovely. Rooms nice, bed very comfy, but found it to be a little overpriced as rooms where quite small. Convenient location to the Ekka and be sure you get there early to obtain a park in the nearby parking lot.

Clean, tidy and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Executive suite has all the comforts and luxuries one needs! Beautiful bars and restaurant downstairs, close to Valley eateries and a lift ride down to the Ekka!

Convenient and worked really well for a visit to the Ekka. However, on checking in and going to our room, the hall was full of dirty breakfast trays and dirty washing. The lift was filthy. It certainly was not a good look. My husband is disabled and I asked on booking for a shower chair to be suppled for his shower. No shower chair was supplied. The room was small but perfect for an overnight stay. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay again when visiting the Ekka.

We found staying at Rydges was the best experience while visiting the Ekka. We stayed Friday night and hit the Ekka at 9am on opening. We could come and go as the day suited us. I would highly recommend this experience to others especially those with families as you can take the stress out of the day.

My hotel room was very average. As I arrived around 8pm I looked for the room service menu, unable to find it, I called reception was told it could be viewed on the TV. When I picked up the remote it was dirty and sticky, so I cleaned it myself with wipes. Found and called room service, when asked which dishes were gluten free I was told maybe I could order some sides, but not sure. I went down to reception to complain. Was told they could send up a new remote and to go and ask the restaurant if they could offer a Gluten Free meal. Very little interest was shown in my concerns. I did go to the restaurant and the staff member was very friendly , but unable to offer me gluten free option. At this stage it was about 9pm and I had to walk the streets of Fortitude Valley by myself as a woman looking for food. I have stayed here pre covid on a regular basis and it was great. This trip left a lot to be desired and I wont be returning.

The room decor is on trend and comfortable. Hotel was easy to park at, located right next to a large selection of restaurants and has friendly staff. Walkable to James Street area but little need to leave King Street.
