This was the third time I have visited Cairns but the first time as a family. I was very happy with my stay at this establishment. The rooms very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed as a family. The restaurant was small but clean and the food was delicious. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with...

What a great place to stay for the money. First off, the staff is VERY friendly!! My family and I traveled to Cairns in May 2014, and our travel agent found this spot for us, as we were on a budget. Upon arrival, and after checking in, at first glance, we all had the same thought, this was not going...

We stayed at the Queenslander in March 2016 as a base to our stay on Cairns. It was a clean hotel with a TV, minibar fridge and a continental breakfast ( restaurant). It also has a nice pool , 2 actually but we only used the one in front. Close to Esplanade only a block away so you can have...

conflicting information - room says pools close at 10pm - information handed out upon booking in informs of a 9pm pools closure - they are so mean they use the teenie tiny milk containers - instead of just providing a 200ml or more carton - it just makes you take extra at breakfast - which was satisfactory - although, I...

What a great hotel. We had a room on the lower level right in front of the pool. No complaints about the room, big, no complaints about the shower, big, no bath but that bothered me none. Comfortable beds and pillows. One block back from beach/path along the waterline. Very pretty place. Beside reception and the pool they have a...

My young family and I stayed at the Cairns Queenslander Hotel and Apartments in January and we thought it was really great. Would recommend to any family. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean. The pool is great. Central enough that we walked to the bus stop not far down the road and traveled easily around the city. Walking is...

We stayed at the Cairns Queenslander recently between Feb 14 - 18. As soon as we drove in, we realized that this is not exactly what you would call a luxury hotel, but a small time establishment with basic facilities. Good points: 1. Staff - very helpful and friendly, and always smiling, any time of the day or night 2....

I stayed here with a large group of high school kids last week for a school trip. The place is super clean and the staff is very nice with helping call a cab or give recommendations. We stayed here for two nights before and after a dive trip. The location is good in that is close enough to walk to a lot of good restaurants in the area.
