The adjoining bedroom stank of mildew. The humidity in there was shocking. The smell was very off putting. It can't be healthy. The noise coming from the bars n pubs were loud and a couple of nights going on till 1am! Needless to say, we didn't sleep well.

Overpriced - you are paying for location only. we had a very small basic queen room on the back of the property. it stank of mould. i told management this and was offered a room in another mantra property. i should have taken this but i was already out at dinner and changing hotels was too inconvenient. an air cleaner...

Dear X2061NHjaneb, Thank you for your feedback and I apologize for the smell in your room. Unfortunately we have had a couple of issues with moldy smells especially after a large tropical rainfall. Generally we can combat this with the use of our ozone machine and I apologize that this was not placed in your room prior to your arrival....

Lots of noise from the numerous pubs and restaurants, air con units, toilets and kitchen from the opposite restaurant backed on to our balcony so very noisey and not very nice experience with that either. Good location if you want to be in the thick of it but avoid if you need peace and quiet or have young children. Nice...

Dear Lloyd S, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear you felt the location was not suitable for your family. Being located in the central hub of Port Douglas can present a higher ambient noise which can be appealing to some and not some much to others. We have a number of properties in Port Douglas...

Great location- right in the centre but at the end of the main street so noise isn't a problem unless you take one of the suites at the front. Although our room overlooked the hotel dining area, it was quiet. The resort is situated right next door to Noy's Thai massage -a relaxing and inexpensive experience not to be missed!

We stayed for 2 nights, in a back room(smaller, no balcony). The decor has been updated since our last stay, and was simple and nice. Don't expect luxury or much service! There's basically no staff at the property.

Clean and well maintained rooms, in a perfect location on the main street of Port Douglas. The pool is small but super relaxing nonetheless. Macrossan Street cafes, shopping and pubs are a stones throw away.

Great location in the the centre for couples and families with teenagers, rooms are surprisingly large and friendly and helpful staff, however pool is tiny and not the place for families, far too noisy till early hours, we should have picked that up but take note.

Great spot for a few days in town exploring. close to Marina, for day trips to reef. Only a small pool, but great to refresh. room 101 was clean and comfortable. Suitable for two people but had to move a few ornaments to make space for our things and purchased food. There were a lot of ants on the deck...

Great location right in hub of Port Douglas. However they did confirm the booking with my wife and not me. My wife was not with me on the trip. I don't know how they got her number. It did cause some confusion.
