Great location right in hub of Port Douglas. However they did confirm the booking with my wife and not me. My wife was not with me on the trip. I don't know how they got her number. It did cause some confusion.

Bit of a long story here! After a mistake through the booking agent (not the Mantra!) we thankfully received a phone call from a very diligent landlord! Phil from Port Douglas on Macrossan! His accommodation was booked out, which did not show up through the booking agent! He phoned around and found an available unit in the same complex! Thanks...

What a pleasure to stay at Mantra on The Inlet. The rooms were surprisingly quiet as I hear a lot of noise, but didn't have a problem getting a good sleep. Really close to Coles & restaurants and this made it easy for shopping or going out for meals. Staff were quiet, hardly saw any only in the mornings doing...

The room was tiny, no windows opened so we were unable to air the room out, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so there was condensation build up, you could feel the springs in the bed so it was incredibly uncomfortable. We weren't given clean towels and the room wasn't cleaned, meaning there was a build up of...

Great room and facilities. Room had great appointments and very comfortable. We were in Port Douglas for a wedding and everything we needed was within a very close proximity to the hotel. We would return and stay at the Mantra on the Inlet again and recommend this property to anyone

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing location to kick back and chill - THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!!! Right beside the pub - right beside garbage bins for the pub, the hotel has some rooms and private owners for the others. Room next door to us having a party from the 4am until 6:30am - complained to reception...

Noisy street location, noisy late night party neighbors and no hot water for 24 hours, was a convenient location but would suit people who don't mind a lot of street/pub activities, not for us again as to much lost sleep.

Coming from Cairns, the location was excellent for us. Right in the centre of town and close to everything we needed. We decided to extend our stay and the second room we stayed in was slightly better than the first (extra tv in the room so we could watch tv in bed). I was disappointed that the reception was not...
