This is a great place if your looking for cheaper accommodation in port Douglas and getting good value for your dollar. The apartments have top loader wasting machines and a dryer which was very convenient. They also have a pool which is very relaxing and also has a BBQ area which was great when my friends wanted to cook a...

My wife and I have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Coral Apartments. The apartments are easy walking distance to 4 mile beach, further from town though so it is wise to have the use of a car. The manager, Justine, was very helpful throughout our stay. Upon our request she moved us from an apartment that...

First thing to know about this place is that it is an apartment and not a hotel, therefore the rooms do not get serviced, beds do not get made, towels dont get changed and if you run out of toilet paper then you need to go an buy some more yourself. For us we knew this was the case and...

My family and I stayed for 3 nights here. We each had our own unit but all close to each other which was handy. The resort is small, therefore peaceful and relaxing. Despite plans to sightsee we decided to spend most of the time at the pool. Great pool for toddlers with plenty of shade and comfortable pool furniture. The...

Great value if you can book a stay for under $100 per night. It is a bit of a walk into Macrossen Street, a good 10 minutes to the beginning, so about 20 minutes to get to Coles. However, in Port Douglas, it is lovely to walk everywhere anyway. However, is handy to the beach, which is about 5 minutes...

We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was longer. The position of the apartments is perfect - stroll to beach one way and Marina the other with the shops equal walking distance. We did not take our car out once. Karen greeted us warmly and was available if needed. Apartment was spacious with a lovely balcony and the fitted...

My first time to Port Douglas - I was made very welcome and even had my bag carried up to the apartment - thank you. Lorraine was very friendly, warm and most helpful. While there is not always someone on duty on site, there is a telephone and telephone number available to contact someone. The apartment was spacious and clean....

I agree with the coments from the review dated Sep 4 2010. Low standard of cleanliness of room, poor service from most of the staff (when you could contact someone), poor communication between staff members, etc. After one week of things going wrong, the final straw was coming back to the room following the replacement of a faulty washing machine...

We have traveled to Port Douglas on several occasions staying at a resort further out of town @ 3 times the price. To us money wasn't the issue but we wanted something a bit closer. We booked with Latitude 16 at the Coral Apartments and couldn't have been happier. The staff are brilliant especially Lorraine & Guy - The apartments...

We stayed at these apartments for 7 nights as part of an around the world trip. The apartments themselves were very average and generally tired looking but spacious and adequate. The location is good. 5 mile beach is a 5 minute walk away and it probably taked 10-15 minutes to walk into town. The apartments are very poorly serviced-only once...
