Couldn't have asked for more, perfect for Backpackers and the staff couldn't have helped more, pickup from the greyhound as I arrived and they went out of their way to help fix my broken bike out. Only stayed one night but if I'm ever in Rockhampton again I will 100% come back!

Literally one of the only hostels in Rockhampton so picked the YHA. I haven't stayed in any of the others but this one is a little run down and needs some TLC. My room wasn't bad. The rooms have working AC and proper size lockers you can fit big bags in. The kitchen and lounge area were both very clean...

I dont remember the name of the staff that was there when we arrived, but he was just great! Really nice to us. Amazing place for a stopover when you are travelling the East Coast. Nice facilities, all very clean and tidy.

We stopped here as a stopover on our way up to Airlie beach. We were a bit wary after other TripAdvisor comments but there's not really anything too wrong with this place. The number one life saver in December is the aircon in the rooms - we have stayed at a few hostels across Queensland and I'm surprised how many...

Good enough hostel. Staff and rooms and kitchen are just fine. Overall a nice hostel which is nothing special but you can definately stay here for a while. You will get the usual good yha hospitality and service.

Fantastic bed, good mid range mattress not to soft or hard. nice light duvet soft pillow slept like a dream. Fan has a mega turbo setting which is guaranteed to keep you cool. Only downside is there doesn't seem to be much going on round here. Nevertheless a good stopgap.

I met other guys who was driving around East Coast, shared lots of travel information and so on. The atmosphere was nice, the guy works...

Me and a friend stayed here last week in a private room, very clean bedroom with comfy beds. There is a large kitchen, dining area and living room. The only problem was you had to sit outside near reception for the wifi which is a bit weird but the staff were very helpful in giving advice on what to do...

Stayed in a double cabin (detached) which had its own en suite, for 2 nights. Found it great value, especially compared to many other hostels we have stayed in. Lots of room, own fridge, and very peaceful. The cabins are actually ex-Olympic village buildings so have been put to great use. Detached buildings make for, in my opinion, a much...
