Stopped off for a bit of a last minute getaway before returning to work. The place was clean and presentable, spacious rooms, air conditioned and Eco friendly as well. Plenty of local wildlife and attractions to boot. Take some insect repellent thought. While you're there tour the caves, the guide was excellent and the caves were truely magnificent. Some of...

Good for kids and guide really informative. It was raining so a great "indoor" thing to do with kids. Make sure you wear non slip shoes and so do the kids as the ground can be slippery. Not far out of rockie either.

The one thing we really wanted to do while staying in Yeppoon was the Capricorn Caves. And we weren't disappointed. For the record, we have a 14 year old, 7 year old and 4 year old. At this time of year (December) we were able to experience the Solstice Tour. We were greeted by Jay and had a coffee before...

The interior of these caves is impressive, however at $30 per adult we didn't think it provided good value for money. Although the guide was friendly, a significant amount of time on the one hour tour was used up by walking through every single safety hazard. Yes, the caves are natural, there are low hanging ceilings and uneven floors, however...

Thank for you taking the time to give us a review, We apologize that you felt our tours were overpriced. We are glad you still enjoyed the beauty of the caves themselves. Your feedback is much appreciated, we will work to ensure that our guides spend less time explaining the hazards in the caves and more time talking about the...

I loved this place. I had the campsite to myself, not sure why as this place is amazing. Facilities great. But it is the location that got me. Not far outside of rockhampton but felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. So quiet no light pollution. Fantastic place to chill around the campfire and watch the stars.

We stayed in an unpowered site here and it was really beautiful and well kept. The site was clean with a nice, communal firepit and free firewood. The camp kitchen was well maintained with a fridge and ammenities were clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We did the Cathedral Cave Tour which I loved. We hope to...

We visited these caves one quiet Saturday afternoon. Not too crowded and very peaceful. The caves are well worth the visit and the presentation is excellent. We had some trouble finding the way there from Yeppoon. Our GPS likes dirt roads but the easiest way is just follow the main roads.

We needed somewhere to break our long journey from Airlie Beach to Hervey Bay and saw these cabins. They aren't far off the Bruce Highway, but in a very peaceful setting. Check-in was very friendly and quiet ( in spite of a school trip staying on-site whilst we were there). The kitchen had a hob, with two rings, allowing us...

We stayed in the Olsen cabin. This cabin is huge with six bunk beds in one bedroom, another single bed in one of the open areas, a main bedroom, bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, lounge, dining area and breakfast bar.
